Today's meditation will help you let go of control and surrender to the beautiful mystery that is your life.
Frankly it's out of your hands my darling.
It's time to loosen your grip.
It's time to let go of control.
To let go of everything that's making your mind whirl and spin.
It's time to surrender to the beautiful mystery that is your life.
Let's settle in now.
Find a comfortable position,
Settling in,
Connecting,
Moving out of your head and into your body,
Gently moving away from the racing thoughts,
From the cares and worries,
Moving towards the slow waves of breath,
Noticing the in and the out,
Noticing the rise and the fall.
The breath is always there,
Rocking you gently,
Expanding and releasing,
Nothing to do,
The body knows how to breathe.
It's all going to be okay.
Here in this moment,
You have no control over that which you so desperately want.
Here in this moment,
You have no control over the specific outcomes you're looking for.
And here in this moment,
You have no control over the other person's actions.
Letting go.
Letting go.
Letting go.
Trusting in the wisdom of the universe,
Gently scanning your attention,
Your awareness around the body,
Perhaps starting at the feet and moving up,
Seeing where you can invite a little ease,
A little letting go,
A gentle invitation.
Letting go.
Letting go.
Inviting every cell of your body to shift from control to faith.
Inviting every cell of your body to shift from worry to hope.
Aware of course as we let go and explore surrender,
Being very aware that we all have our hopes,
Our wishes,
Our dreams and our prayers.
Taking a moment now to whisper your prayers to the universe,
Either out loud or silently.
Whisper your prayers to the universe and let go and trust.
Release control.
Allow your body,
Allow your soul to let it go and to trust.
A break from thinking.
A break from doing.
A time to be at one with yourself,
At one with love and at one with trust.
Very slowly and gently coming back to the space around you,
In your own time and in your own way.
And thank you so much for practicing with me today.
