
3 Tips To Have An Amazing Day Every Single Day
I don’t know about you, but I sometimes wake up in the morning feeling really grumpy and angry, all at once – and everything just makes me want to scream and go back to bed. With a cup of hot chocolate. Now, you always have a choice. And you can simply decide that you’re going to have an amazing day, no matter what. In this episode of my informal and educational self-love podcast, Your Time To Shine, I'll teach you how to do just that.

Before we start today's topic,
I want you to tell me,
How are you doing?
How are you feeling?
How have you been?
Oh my goodness,
Crazy things have been happening in the world,
So how are you feeling today?
How have you been feeling?
You know,
I read a fun quote the other day,
Which read,
A challenge doesn't build character,
It reveals character.
You have to say it in a mysterious voice.
And you know what?
It's actually been really true for me.
My character has been revealed.
So during lockdown,
Lots of things have happened for me.
I have deepened some friendships,
Which I'm really happy about.
And then on the other hand,
Some people have just disappeared from my life,
Which I'm also very happy about,
To be honest.
And I have also,
You know,
Remembered what's truly important to me.
And I know that it's something that a lot of people have talked about.
You know,
What's important to me is number one,
Myself,
Because you know,
This is a self love podcast,
So I have to talk about it.
And my work slash my people,
My clients,
And my family.
And I'm pretty sure they're all on the same on the same level.
But I wonder why I mentioned my family third,
Which is very interesting.
I need to look into that.
Anyway.
And lockdown has also shed light on stuff that really I would rather have left in the dark,
Like how I feel about my home country,
France.
Yeah,
All the details about that will be revealed in the June episode.
Just joking.
I'm sure that we can talk about something that is way more interesting than France.
Obviously,
I have some issues there.
Anyway.
And you know,
People have told me that they've had nothing to do during lockdown.
I mean,
You know,
Once you finish wiping your walls,
Organizing your Tupperwares and brushing your dog and planting flowers in your garden,
Or whatever people do in their garden,
I don't know,
I'm not much of a gardener.
There's not much else to do,
Right.
But you know what,
I've actually been busier than ever before in my personal and professional life.
You know,
During lockdown,
I have launched two brand new courses.
And the first one is called get your business out into the world.
And it's an eight week program designed to help people with an idea,
Entrepreneurs,
Healers,
Coaches,
Holistic practitioners of any kind,
Really,
To get their beautiful vision,
Their beautiful business out into the world,
So that they can start making money from their work from their passion from their vision straight away.
I'm passionate about this,
As you can see.
And the second,
The second program that I've launched is called I love your body.
And we're currently in week two of it's a three week program.
It's super amazing.
I'm so excited to talk about this with my students.
It's about healing your relationship with your body,
Falling in love with your body,
It's about getting you out of the diet culture,
So that you can really fall in love holistically with your body so they can take care of your bodies of your body,
Of your body in a holistic way.
It's,
It's been incredible.
It's been an incredible journey.
And you know what you guys running courses sets my heart on fire.
It just makes me so happy.
I just love my job.
I love recording this podcast for you guys.
I just love I love my life.
So anyway,
All of that to say,
How are you doing you guys?

Have you taken the time to have you taken the time to consciously think about what it is that you truly want to experience and the rest of your life?

What things have you left behind?
What have you started?
Talking too fast.
Perhaps you've started a hobby that you always put on the back burner and now you finally had the time to do it,
Like playing the guitar or learning how to make,
I don't know,
Pastry of some kind or chocolate,
Whatever.
Anyway,
What have you done with yourself during lockdown?
I would love to know.
So,
Because you know,
Once we're stripped of our day jobs and our excuses,
Like I don't have time or maybe next year or maybe next life.
Well,
The only thing that remains really is you,
Who you are,
Who you want to be,
What you want from life.
And of course,
What is holding you back from creating the life that you really,
Truly,
Deeply want to create.
Because,
Well,
You know,
Let me know if you need help with that,
Because I'm going to come and kick your butt into action.
Honestly,
You guys,
I don't want to give you corny quotes,
But life is short and you have to make the most of it.
You really have to make the most of it.
There's just no time to eat,
Sleep and work and go to work and do the shopping.
Like this is all stuff that we need to do,
But there's so much more to life than that.
And I would love to help you discover that.
So make a list of everything that you want to do and then go kick your butt,
Kick your own butt into action and get some sort of action done towards your goals.
And,
You know,
I don't want to say the word goals,
Actually,
It's just,
You know,
As soon as I say the word goals,
I get kind of tensed up and stressed because I'm a very,
I guess,
Hyperactive person and I love to take action and I love to,
You know,
Get to the next level of my life.
And sometimes I pressure myself into doing too much too fast.
So we want to forget about the world goals.
But I want you to think about how can you get to the next level of your life,
Your next level of income,
Your next level of relationship and intimacy in your marriage,
Your next level of communication and playfulness with your children,
Your next level of self-love and self-care and self-acceptance with yourself,
Obviously.
How can you get to that?
I would love to know.
You probably already know what you need to do.
So anyway,
I keep trying to give you my five tricks,
My three tricks,
Actually.

I keep trying to give you my three tips and tricks to help you have the most amazing day every single day,
Which is the real topic of today's Your Time to Shine episode.
But I keep rambling on about stuff that seems important at the moment.
So bear with me.
Anyway,
Three tips to help you have the most amazing day every single day.
Tip number one,
Decide that you are going to have the most amazing day.
You know how sometimes you wake up and everything is awful.
You feel cranky,
You feel headachy,
You feel lonely,
You feel like you have too much work on your body aches and everything stinks.
And then you hit your toe on the bloody bed thingy,
Whatever that's called.
And then your family has used all of the hot water so you can't have a hot shower and you've run out of coffee again and you end up being late to work and you just end up having the most awful day ever.
And you just can't wait to get back to bed for this day to be finished so that you can just have another go at life the next day,
Right?
And then sometimes everything is amazing.
You feel connected,
You feel amazing,
Your boss calls you into his or her office to give you the most amazing promotion,
Everything tastes great,
You order a slice of chocolate cake and you don't feel guilty about it because it just tastes so good and you just feel good about yourself and you feel amazing and confident in your body,
You love the top that you're wearing,
Your shoes are not hurting your heels,
Everything rocks for you,
Right?
My point is this,
You have to decide that you're going to have an amazing day no matter what,
No matter how you feel in the morning,
No matter what's going on for you,
What happens to you during the day,
No matter how many,
I don't know,
Annoying comments you receive from a workmate or whatever,
You have to decide that you're going to have an amazing day no matter what because you guys,
It really is a matter of perception.
It is a matter of perception,
You know,
You could decide that you're going to have the worst day and then everything turns out awful for you and then you could just decide that you're going to have the most amazing day,
The exact same things happen during the day and you're just having the most amazing day because you just decided that it's going to be amazing and you can just,
It's like what happens doesn't really matter because you can just get the ball rolling and you interpret things in a way that makes you feel empowered,
That makes you feel positive,
That make you feel optimistic,
Hopeful and abundant,
Connected of course.
So just decide that you're going to make the most of your days and don't let,
You know,
This day be just another day where you just kind of try to keep up with things and you have to go and do your shopping obviously.
Hopefully this episode will air after lockdown when we're allowed to go out and go for takeaway coffee and by the way you guys,
I really miss cheese-crusted pizza.
Yeah,
I think this is the first thing I'm going to do after lockdown is get a cheese-crusted vegetarian pizza.
Those are the best things in the entire world.
My husband told me that I should probably give up on these but it's a treat and I love myself.
I love cheese-crusted pizza.
What is the first thing that you would,
That you're going to do after lockdown?
I would love to know.
Anyway,
That was point,
Tip number one,
Decide that you're going to have an amazing day,
The most amazing day.
Tip number two,
Spend some time in silence and in action.
I know,
I need to talk about this.
So guys,
We're always rushing towards the next thing and I realized this and I'm actually still doing this the other day.
I had just finished launching Love Your Body and I had just hit my income goal for the month,
Which is pretty cool given that it's where I haven't even finished April.
Anyway,
And I just hit my goal.
It's something that I have been working on,
Working towards for a while and I just felt so happy and joyful like I can do anything for a nanosecond.
And then,
You know what you guys,
I started to stress out about reaching the next level of my business and I started to,
You know,
Hit those worthiness and visibility issues and visibility issues and whatever.
So yeah,
I enjoyed my victory and then I started to stress out.
So this stinks and don't do what I did you guys.
And really,
The key here is to spend some time in silence and in action.
You have to spend some time in silence.
So my tip for you is that,
You know,
That could look like journaling.
It could look like meditating.
It could look like looking at a tree.
It could look like,
I don't know,
Looking at the clouds for a little bit and looking at all the bunnies and the cows and the guitars,
Um,
Guitar-shaped clouds,
Whatever,
Rocks your boat.
But just spend some time in introspection,
Alone,
Uninterrupted,
With your phone on silence,
Just with yourself.
Do nothing.
I know it's harder than it seems.
Think nothing,
If you can,
And just observe how you're feeling.
Just observe what's going on for you.
Just observe what's going on around you and within you,
Of course,
And see what difference that makes to your day.
Those moments are so precious,
So precious,
You guys.
And I know that you're listening to this and you're like,
Oh yeah,
But you know,
Celine,
You're like in your 20s and you don't have any kids and you're working for yourself and like,
Everything works out great for you all the time and you can do this,
But I can't because I have all of this going not right in my life.
And you know,
I have kids and I have a job and I have this,
This,
This and that to do and I have so much,
You know,
That I need to do and I just can't afford to spend even five seconds alone with myself.
And actually that would suck because I don't really like myself.
Well,
You know,
If you're busy,
Then you need to spend some time in silence and introspection the most.
And it's actually quite funny because not everything works out great for me.
Not everything works out just the way I want it to be.
I don't know,
Sometimes I got a comment the other day,
I think it was my episode on manifesting your soulmates and keeping your soulmates.
It was probably like a year ago or something.
And,
Um,
I published that episode somewhere,
Whatever.
And somebody replied and said,
Totally useless.
Like,
Honestly,
Like this is the worst comments you could ever receive.
And you know what guys,
I made a mistake.
I checked this before I had meditated,
Before I had had my shower and before I had had breakfast.
So I was not feeling scented and I was kind of looking at reading my comments and emails and whatever in order to feel good about myself.
And obviously,
You know,
When somebody tells you totally useless,
Well,
That didn't really help me to feel good about myself,
Right?
If I had taken the time to be in silence,
To be with myself,
Then I would have been able to handle this and to actually laugh it off because this is one of my most popular episodes,
You guys.
So yeah,
You don't really spending time in silence,
Just breathing deeply,
Just being with yourself,
Just being with the trees and the air and the birds,
Just listening to the bird song,
You guys.
This is something that is going to help you.
It's almost like taking a shower for your mind.
You know,
You take care of your body and you shave your legs or whatever,
And you go and get a manicure and you,
You know,
Take your,
Have your coffee,
Just the way you like it.
And you take care of your body,
But you also have to take care of your mind.
So how can you take care of your mind?
Well,
The best way that I have found is to spend time in silence and introspection.
So see how that can work out for you in your day-to-day life.
But really you can spend 30 minutes aside just to be with yourself and be with the beautiful trees around you.
You absolutely have this ability.
You guys,
You are in charge of your life.
Nobody else is in charge of your life and you can't blame anything and everything on anybody else but you.
So if there's something that you don't like about your life,
Then you have the ability to change it.
And I know it can seem scary because it's much easier to blame it on your mom or your dad or your boss or your dog or your kids or whatever than it is to blame it on yourself.
But actually,
When you realize that you can really change anything and everything that you want to change,
Then you're actually empowering yourself to make those changes happen.
So,
You know,
Stop making excuses and just go and make it happen for yourself because it's your life.
So make the most out of it.
Good.
So I wanted to share a moment that I experienced last night with you guys.
So I was feeling awful.
I'm about to start my cycle and I was starting to have cramps and I felt just,
You know,
Those times.
And anyway,
And so I shut myself in the bedroom and I asked my husband to stay away from me.
He wanted to stay away from me anyway because I was really cranky.
Poor him.
Anyway,
And so I was alone in the bedroom and I kept hitting stuff,
You know,
Hitting my toe on things and my elbow on stuff and everything was annoying.
And anyway,
After a while,
I managed to make myself a cup of tea and to cover myself with my favorite blankie and to grab a comic book that I had borrowed before the start of lockdown.
And I was really excited about reading it.
And anyway,
I pick it up and it was the story of somebody who had wanted to have an experience with God.
I can't remember the title,
But if you're interested in,
I'm happy to just message me and I'll give you the title.
And anyway,
She wanted to have an experience with God and she wanted to take some time off.
And what she really wanted to do was meet her husband,
The man who was going to be her husband.
And she was really focused on that.
And instead she talked about how she just started to have an adventure with God and she went to Wales and she went to Australia and she started to have all these different adventures.
And she played and she had fun and she connected with God.
And it was such a beautiful,
Touching,
Personal story.
And you know what?
When I was reading this comic book,
I felt so at peace.
I was resonating with a lot of things that were happening to that poor lady in the story.
Well,
Happy lady,
Actually,
Rich lady.
And I just felt connected to her.
And I felt this deep moment of peace and connection and belonging.
I had just told myself a story.
I was alone and I was lonely and nobody was supporting me and everything sucked and my body sucked.
Everything sucked.
But I managed to sit down and just be with the story,
Be with my cup of tea and be with my blankie.
And suddenly everything shifted for me in one moment.
So those moments of connection,
Belonging are always available to you,
You guys.
And that's what I wanted to share with you,
That it's always possible for you to feel connected,
To feel that you belong,
To feel that you matter,
To feel that you are loved no matter what.
And just make the most out of these moments.
And so when you spend some time in silence and introspection,
Which is what I want to share with you,
Then those moments become much more part of your daily life.
Okay,
So that was tip number two.
Tip number three,
Be of service.
I know that you didn't expect me to talk about this,
But this is what I want to talk about.
So I'm going to talk about it.
So be of service.
So stop thinking about what you can get.
Always what you can get,
What you can get,
What you can get,
What you can get.
There needs to be a balance between your giving and your receiving.
So this is something that I work on so often with my clients.
You know,
People come to me often and say,
Well,
You know,
Selena,
I feel so alone in my work and in my life.
And I just love to give to my partner,
To my children,
But I'm never recognized for all of my hard work.
And then my first question is usually,
Well,
Do you ask for help?
Yes.
But we know when I receive help,
It's never the way I want it to be.
And then the second thing is usually,
Well,
Actually,
I don't feel comfortable receiving love.
I feel that I want to give love so that people are kind of forced to give love back to me in return.
I don't feel that I'm worthy of receiving love freely from the ones who love me.
So anyway,
There needs to be a balance between the giving and the receiving.
You guys,
You have to be,
You want to be able to give without any expectation just because it's fun and it brings you joy.
Not because it depletes you,
Not because you need to receive love,
Not because you feel unworthy of receiving love,
Just because it's fun to give without any expectation of anything in return.
And you want to be able to receive without any expectation as well.
So this is something that I've been working on since I got married,
Actually.
And it's been such a challenging thing for me to actually,
Like,
Sometimes,
You know,
My husband will put hot water in my cup of tea and it just brings me to tears because I just feel so grateful that my husband knows how much I love a good cup of tea in the evening and just,
You know,
Refills my cup in one way or another,
I suppose,
Without even me having to ask for it and begging him to do it,
Right?
And there's so much joy in just giving without any expectation.
He doesn't do it so that I won't,
You know,
Nag him about,
I don't know,
Filling up my cup or whatever.
But yeah,
Anyway,
Do something for someone without expecting to be praised.
There is so much beauty in giving love and joy and compassion to strangers on the street.
You know,
Giving a smile is so incredibly beautiful.
I don't know,
Helping somebody cross the street or,
You know,
If somebody drops something on the ground,
Then,
You know,
Give it,
You know,
To them.
And I don't know,
There can be so many ways for you to be helpful,
To be compassionate,
To be connected to your community.
And,
You know,
When you stop rushing,
Then you notice all of those little opportunities that you can actually feel connected to your community and all of the ways that you can help.
So just give because I said so,
You know,
Just as a test.
There is so much joy in giving you guys.
And,
You know,
Remember how I told you how,
You know,
Running courses and teaching self-love and manifestation to my students sets me on fire?
That's because I give without any expectation.
Obviously I set a container,
You know,
I decide,
Okay,
I Love Your Body is going to be a three week course.
And this is how I'm going to structure it.
I'm going to give a life training and I'm going to give a theta healing mindset,
Meditation,
Energy clearing,
Whatever you want to call it.
I'm going to give homework.
I'm going to give exercises.
I'm going to give support through the Facebook group.
I'm going to give two 30 minute one-on-one sessions with me to people who choose the VIP option.
You know,
I create the container and I have my boundaries around the ways I'm willing to give.
And I also,
You know,
Set a price that makes me feel good around,
You know,
Giving that service.
So it's not about,
You know,
Giving and exhausting yourself until you have nothing else to give,
Nothing more to give.
It really is about giving in a way that feels fun for you when you want to give.
And yeah,
There's a lot more that we could talk about on this topic,
But I want to keep it short.
But just have a play around this,
You know,
Start to give something small and see if you can give it without any expectation,
Without expecting anything in return,
Just because giving energizes your heart.
It energizes your soul.
There's so much joy in giving for just for the sake of it,
You guys.
And you know,
The more I give,
The more I receive and the less I want to control and the less I want to receive in a controlling way.
I don't know if that really made sense,
But the more I give,
The more loved and connected and abundant I feel.
And that really is the case,
You guys.

I forgot to breathe once again.
Every time I think I'm going to take the time to speak clearly,
Normally,
Slowly,
And then I just don't do it because I get super excited about talking about self-love and manifesting and all of things,
All of the things with you guys.
