Today I'll guide you through a short morning intention meditation practice.
This is an opportunity for you to bring your attention inward.
Your day is going to be spent focusing outward,
Full with external stimulation,
External demands.
So allow yourself to take this time to bring your attention into your body,
Into your senses.
Sit in a comfortable position,
Whatever that looks for you.
You can elongate your spine,
Drop your shoulders.
Let's start by taking some delicious deep breaths.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Take a full breath in through your nose and a long breath out through your mouth.
Again in and out,
Relaxing your muscles.
Softening your jaw and connecting to your breath by observing it,
Returning to its natural flow.
Notice your body sitting and breathing.
You are here,
Your body is here and your mind is here too.
And you can ask yourself what kind of day you want to have.
What are you looking forward to do today?
And take a moment to notice how you feel now.
And with this space of clarity,
Set your intention for the rest of your day.
Let's finish by taking one last deep breath in,
A long breath out and take good care of you.
