This relaxation exercise will be about five minutes long.
Begin sitting comfortably.
Now is your time to take a few minutes for yourself.
Taking time for yourself is important for your body,
Your mind,
And your soul.
Love your body,
Love your mind,
And all that you have to offer.
Let's start by focusing on your breath.
Breathing in,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold.
And out,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Again,
In,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And out,
Two,
Three,
Four.
In,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And out,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Keep focusing on your breath.
Breathing in,
Pure air.
And breathing out all stress.
Now take a moment and gently massage your shoulders,
Using the breath to release any of the tension within your shoulders.
Now move the massage up to your neck.
Now take a moment to gently stretch your neck by dropping your chin and gently holding your hands to stretch the neck even more.
Slowly roll your neck two times to the right,
Feeling each muscle stretch.
And then two times to the left.
Roll your shoulders back and forward.
Now before we end,
Let's take a few more breaths.
Sign out on the exhale.
Breathe in,
Hold,
And out.
Breathe in,
Hold,
And out.
One more time in,
And out.
Know that you can always come back to this feeling simply by breathing.
