Walking meditation is a basic meditation that even those who have never tried to meditate can enjoy.
It basically means that you are just walking for some time on your own without any external communication.
There are different perceptions of this kind of practice,
And there is no wrong way to do that.
Here I would like to share with you my experience with walking meditation and the results it helped me to achieve.
So for practicing walking meditation,
I choose the place that I love the most.
For me,
It's a small narrow street next to my house,
Not a crowded one.
There are a lot of trees,
Shrubs,
And flowers along the road.
Sometimes I meet some random neighbors,
Turtles,
Snakes,
Hench-hawks,
And different birds.
Some roosters welcome me with their songs,
As well as some goads with their speech.
It might not be the most beautiful road in the world,
But for me it is the most magical and special one.
It makes me feel at peace.
Every time I walk there,
I feel like nature around speaks to me.
Birds sing their incredible songs personally for me.
I am able to observe the whole city,
Port,
And neighborhood from the road.
Listen to the sounds of people walking in the neighborhood,
Sounds of the city,
Trains,
And some birds heading to the port.
Nothing irritates me.
Everything looks and feels very pleasant and natural.
I might take a stop to just observe funny shapes of the skies flying over my head and transforming into other funny shapes.
I love watching the dance of tender butterflies.
Listen to the whisper of leaves on the trees,
Smell flowers and grass,
And enjoy the difference in smells at different seasons.
And I absolutely adore gorgeous mountains,
Tenderly surrounding the whole city,
Protecting it from the storms and severe winds.
Mountains are like strong protectors that look absolutely amazing and different at different seasons.
Sun makes everything around shine brighter,
Highlighting the beauty of everything.
Sea shines with stamen sparks,
Adding unique beauty to the mainland's cave view,
Smiling to the whole coast and to the sky.
Natural beauty appears at sunset time,
When the invisible painter comes and makes everything look like in a fairy tale,
And it simply takes your breath away.
When I stop,
It makes me be in the now,
Feel the beauty of the moment and enjoy.
It makes me feel happy and appreciate deeper the ability to see,
Smell and hear.
Everything feels divinely connected,
Living in harmony.
And everything emits love,
Love that I feel from everything around me.
And I am a part of this divine beauty.
And this is a true blessing.
When I walk along the road,
First I let the thoughts pop up into my mind,
But I don't really give them any attention,
As nature makes me surrender to what is around me.
The thoughts just come and go,
And that state of being is very powerful.
So after some time walking,
I feel deeply connected to the world around me,
To my true self,
To the divine,
To the source.
This state of being makes me feel extremely inspired.
That's when I can feel my true path,
I can feel where to head to and what is the right thing for me to do.
That's how I receive answers to my questions.
I feel protected and divinely guided on my path.
And the most important thing – everything feels right.
I don't need to do any specific actions or breath in a certain way.
I just do what and how my body feels.
And I feel absolutely happy.
If I meet someone or something unexpected happens that interrupts my walk,
I don't feel irritated.
And the opposite – it makes me feel connected to others,
To the earth and the world itself.
It makes me see the divine spark within everyone I meet.
And the longer I walk,
The longer I experience and keep this feeling within,
And the longer I will be able to feel inspired and connected to my heart through the day.
This practice is really like a blessing,
When you can eliminate all negative energy and emotions within by simply walking and observing.
It always helps me to notice all the beauty around – the beauty of the season,
Of the street,
Nature and the day itself.
And by simply noticing it,
I start to deeply appreciate what I see,
What I am able to experience and be part of.
True appreciation is the best manifestation technique that helps to attract into your life everything your heart truly wants and feels as the right for you.
That's why I really enjoy this simple but so important type of meditation,
As it helps to connect to my higher self,
Find answers to my deep questions,
Remove negative energy and thoughts from my mind and get inspired.
