Hello Insight Timer and welcome.
My name is Dee and I am the Quantum Voice Mentor.
If you are not familiar with my work,
I am all about unraveling what is around the voice to really create a superpower out of what is your innate frequency,
Your innate ability to be able to create sound and express sound and amplify sound from your system.
I have been doing this for a long time.
I am an opera singer by profession and have been working with energy and frequency and the science and so on for just over 20 years now.
This particular training,
This particular work is so deeply rooted in what I found to be an ongoing issue,
Not just with my own training and with my own production of sound frequency,
But with so many that I've come across over 250 and rapidly growing.
So I am really thrilled to be bringing a lot of this to you as part of my insight training ongoing.
This particular track is really a talk,
A script based on that permission slip to sound like yourself and in 2026 this is my gift to you and your gift to yourself.
You are not designed to sound like anyone else.
Biologically,
Scientifically,
As humans we each have our own distinct signature and that distinct signature creates the sound that we naturally produce day to day.
So before we begin I want to let you know that you have nothing to do here.
There is a step through process which I'll guide you through if you wish to,
But this is really just a conversation to strip performance where fixing doesn't have a place and that effort really isn't required.
It just requires you to listen,
To listen to you,
To listen to what the words that I'm saying and if they're resonating,
Fantastic.
For most of us the voice becomes something we manage rather than something we trust and there is a lot of mistrust that has occurred in speaking platforms.
I'm seeing it a lot on social media,
I'm seeing a lot in the work that I'm doing with clients,
With students.
We learn to curate and craft and shape it and we soften it and we control it and we push it depending on what the world has asked of us,
What our beliefs are and somewhere along the way we forget that the voice is not something we are actually designed to manufacture,
It is something that responds.
Your voice responds to your body,
To your breath,
To your sense of safety,
To your presence,
To your internal frequency,
Your energy.
So if your voice is feeling tight or quiet or strained or inconsistent I want you to hear this clearly.
Firstly there is nothing wrong with you and we've been told and brought up in a world which now reveres fixing.
I have fixed myself,
I have healed myself.
However the voice is not something to heal,
It is something to allow to respond and your voice has been doing exactly what it's designed to do and that is to respond to your internal state.
One of the most liberating shifts you can make is letting go of how you think your voice should sound and beginning to listen to how it actually feels because underneath all the habits and conditioning there is a natural voice versus a normal voice.
A natural voice is the voice that you were always designed to have,
To create,
How it all functions,
The biology and so on.
A normal voice is the one you've curated,
The one you've managed and a voice that feels honest and grounded and available is not louder,
Doesn't need to be softer,
Doesn't need to be different.
It simply has permission and the permission slip is the gift to you,
To your voice,
To your energy,
To your inner frequency,
To be,
To resonate fully in the frequencies,
To access all the frequencies that you are designed to access.
You are curated by the greater design,
You don't need to curate or manage anything.
Our job is to allow that to just function,
To free the frequency and that can be attached to emotion,
That can be attached to beliefs and the beliefs can be helpful or efficient or not efficient and I speak about this a lot.
Efficiency is really,
Is everything functioning effectively?
Is it working?
Does it feel easy?
Does it feel fluid?
Does it feel like it's not painful,
For example?
The more that we support efficiency versus good,
Bad,
Right,
Wrong,
The more we focus on the efficiency,
The more likely we are to access the greater frequencies that we have within us.
So let's take a moment,
I'm going to run you through a nice,
Gorgeous little guided process.
And let's start with taking a nice,
Slow,
Low,
Wide breath in through the nose,
Which is really like a drawing in because we don't actually breathe in,
Gravity just draws air in,
Which for me blew my mind when I first found that out.
Gravity draws air in,
We don't have the control over the breath in,
We have control over the breath out and our job is to get all of that air out of our system.
So let's take that slow,
Inward breath through the nose,
Let it drop low and wide into the body,
Right into your hip flexors and beyond and then as you exhale,
Allow your shoulders to soften,
Allow your jaw to unclench and you're going to blow out like you're blowing out a candle and the job is to get all of those lower muscles to really expel the air,
Activate them.
Let's do that again,
Breathing in nice and slow and wide through the nose,
Dropping into the body,
Again allowing your shoulders to soften,
Allow your jaw to unclench and then blowing out that candle.
And let's do this one more time and then on the exhale,
You're actually going to gently hum.
So breathing in through the nose,
Nice,
Low and wide and gently hum.
It's just an easy,
Comfortable sound.
Try it again.
Don't aim it,
Don't shape it,
Don't try and control it,
Just let it be in your system.
One more time.
And just notice where you feel it,
The sensations,
The vibrations.
Is your voice responding to space?
Because frequency requires space to resonate.
The more space it has,
The greater the resonance.
And when you're present in your body,
When your breath is just allowed,
Not controlled,
Managed,
When you're connected to what you're saying,
The voice has this ability to flow in a way that creates space and space amplifies the resonance.
So as we wrap up this small talk,
Small guided session,
The most important thing I want to offer you today is that you don't need permission from anyone else to sound like yourself.
Not from society,
Not from culture,
Not from authorities,
Not from comparison,
Not from your inner voice.
Your voice already knows how to be yours.
You just need to give it that permission.
So before you speak today,
Whether it's to someone else or just to yourself,
Pause for a breath,
Feel your body and ask yourself quietly,
Can I allow my voice to come from where I actually am?
Because then you're no longer layering over,
You're stripping away.
And the question alone creates such a deep honesty.
And again,
Honesty creates space,
Authenticity creates space,
Which then creates resonance.
Let your body be where it is,
Let your voice be what it is and where it is and allow.
