Bedtime with Mrs.

Honeybee Today we will be exploring the world of Louis.

Put your phone on silent.

Oh yeah,

Good idea.

Thanks,

Bingo.

All you have to do is close your eyes,

Get cozy,

And listen to the sound of my voice.

Mrs.

Honeybee will be your guide.

Oh,

So relaxing.

Let's begin.

It's working.

You are here,

Walking down the sidewalk on your way to Louis' house.

The sun is shining.

There isn't a cloud in the sky or a worry in your mind.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose.

Feel the coolness of the air coming in through your nose and the warmth of the sun shining down on your skin.

Then slowly breathe all the way out through your mouth as you continue walking.

Right foot,

Left foot,

Right foot,

Left foot.

Louis invited you over today and said that she had a special new friend she wants you to meet.

That's me.

I'm the pilot.

She told you that they would be waiting by the street sign in front of her house at 10 a.

M.

Oh my goodness.

I wonder who it could be.

As you round the corner exactly at 10 o'clock,

You hear the pitter patter of four little paws on the pavement.

You look back to see the cutest,

Sweetest little white pup.

It's Harold.

He's the fluffiest friend you've ever met and he looks so soft and cuddly.

Harold barks to tell you that he's on his way over to Bluey's house too.

Harold sniffs your hand and jumps up to give you tons and tons of puppy kisses.

Then he happily follows in your footsteps all the way to Bluey's front door.

You knock and Harold sits at your feet,

Happily wagging his tail while waiting for the door to open.

When it does,

You see Bluey who smiles when she sees that it's you and Harold.

But her expression quickly turns to one of worry.

Harold barks to ask her what's wrong.

Before she can answer,

You both hear Bingo crying from within the house.

Bluey invites you inside where you see Bandit and Chilly sitting with Bingo on the living room floor trying to cheer her up.

I don't think Bingo's having any fun.

Bingo has big sad tears streaming down her cheeks.

Bandit and Chilly look just as sad as they can't seem to cheer her up.

I want mom!

You and Harold rush over to see what happened.

Bluey explains that Bingo was playing with her most favorite toy,

A big yellow excavator that she can ride in,

Just like a real excavator outside in the backyard.

She gathered up a big bundle full of leaves,

Sticks and stones,

And began cranking up the lever to lift the excavator arm.

The sticks and stones she gathered were much too heavy and the entire arm came crashing down,

Never to lift again.

Together,

You and Harold take another slow,

Deep breath in through your snouts.

Feel the sensation of your heart beating once,

Twice,

Three times full of love.

Then,

Slowly,

Breathe all the way out through your mouth and send all of the love in your heart to Bingo.

Her tears dry as she begins to feel the love of all her friends that surround her.

But she looks down at the excavator and realizes she'll never get to play with it again.

Help me,

Gar!

Your heart sinks and you wish you could make it all better.

That's when Harold,

Who is one of the smartest and most imaginative pups around,

Gets an idea.

Harold jumps up and gets everyone's attention,

Including Bluey's and even Bingo's.

Holding the attention of the room like a friendly circus performer,

Harold jumps to one side and then the other,

As if he's looking for something that's behind him but he cannot see.

Just as suddenly as he springs up,

Harold begins chasing his own tail in quick,

Little circles.

He shows Bingo that no matter what,

Just like him,

She always already has a built-in toy,

Her long,

Bushy tail.

The biggest smile comes across Bingo's face and then Bluey's.

Even Bandit and Chilly get up to chase their tails,

Too.

Can you play games with us?

Can you join in on the fun,

Pretending you have the most colorful,

Plushy tail of all?

Take another slow,

Deep breath in through your nose as you spin in dizzying circles.

Then slowly breathe all the way out through your mouth and fall gently to the living room carpet in a dizzy dog pile along with Bluey and Bingo.

You are all laughing and playing,

Waiting for the room to stop spinning.

Bandit and Chilly help each other up.

Then slowly walk dizzy steps to the kitchen where they begin preparing dinner.

Harold lifts his snout to smell the delicious aroma of dinner cooking,

But he finds himself with yet another idea.

Harold is so happy to have helped bring a smile to Bingo's face and Bluey is beyond happy that her sister is feeling better.

But Harold feels like he can do even more to make Bingo's day.

Before Bluey can ask what he means,

Harold leaps out of the dog pile,

Snatches up the broken excavator in his snout,

And runs out the door to who knows where.

You all immediately get up to follow him,

Shouting out to him as you struggle to keep up.

With heroic strength,

Harold leads you,

Bluey and Bingo,

All the way to the Honey Bee neighborhood,

Up to our house where Mrs.

And Mr.

Honey Bee live with him.

The garage is open and Harold instinctively runs in,

Knowing that Mr.

Honey Bee will be out in the garage,

Working at his workbench,

Tinkering with something.

Why hello,

My little Honey Bee,

Harold,

Bluey,

And Bingo.

How are you?

Oh no,

What happened here?

Mr.

Honey Bee sees the broken excavator and knows exactly what to do.

You,

Bluey,

Bingo,

And Harold follow him to the workbench,

Where you each put on white doctor's coats to perform emergency toy surgery.

Mr.

Honey Bee pushes a button on the leg of his workbench to alert Mrs.

Honey Bee inside that this is a code red.

Code red!

I repeat,

Mrs.

Honey Bee,

Code red!

Mr.

Honey Bee,

Is everything okay?

What's the code red?

We have an excavator on its last leg.

We need to stitch it back together again for Bingo,

But we don't have much time.

Hurry!

This is an emergency!

We all gather the supplies we'll need to perform the surgery and each painstakingly stitch the excavator arm back on with glue,

Duct tape,

Wire,

And anything else we can find.

Then we all stand back,

Waiting and wondering to see what happens.

You do the honors of pulling the excavator lever to see if the emergency toy surgery was successful.

Take another slow,

Deep breath in through your nose.

Feel your chest and your spirits lift.

Then slowly breathe all the way out through your mouth and pull up the excavator arm.

It works!

We did it!

Bingo is ecstatic and you all scoop up the mended toy to go out on the front lawn and see what you can once again excavate.

You are the best toy doctors in the whole Honey Bee neighborhood.

You and Bluey ride the excavator together,

Picking up bundles of leaves and sticks and stones with ease.

Bingo and Harold fill the excavator with random things they find around the front yard,

Including daisies,

An extra piece of chalk,

And even some gardening gloves.

The excavator is as good as new and you all enjoy playing games for the whole afternoon.

When the sun starts to set and it's almost time to head back to Bluey's house for a Honey Bee neighborhood game night,

Mrs.

Honey Bee comes back out of the house with Mr.

Honey Bee.

I set something down in the excavator,

But you can't quite see what it is.

You lift the excavator arm up a little to see that Mrs.

And Mr.

Honey Bee have made each of you your very own handmade toy.

But not just any toy.

These are unbreakable toys that will never,

Ever crack,

Shatter,

Or warp.

Much like a best friend's love and kindness,

These toys are unshakable and will withstand even the funnest games.

This is just for you,

My little Honey Bee,

Bluey,

Bingo.

Harold,
