Take a moment to find a comfortable seat either on the floor or in a chair.

Let your spine lengthen,

Shoulders soften and your hands rest gently on your lap or knees.

Close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Again inhale deeply filling your lungs completely and exhale releasing any tension.

One more time breath in feeling grounded and present now and breathe out settling into your stillness.

Now let the breath return to its natural rhythm.

Allow each inhale to bring in clarity and each exhale to release out.

Just gently breathing in and out of your nose.

As you listen let these words sink in.

Repeat them in your mind or softly aloud.

I trust my body.

I am strong.

I am resilient.

I trust my training.

I move with confidence.

I move with ease.

I am always learning.

I am always getting better.

Every challenge makes me stronger.

I trust my body.

My artistry is unique.

I embrace my natural abilities.

I dance with courage.

I dance with authenticity.

I trust my body.

I am worthy of success.

I am grateful I can move.

I shine both on and off the stage.

I am limitless.

I trust my body.

I trust my abilities.

I can do this.

Feel these words settling deep within you strengthening your mind-body connection.

Now gently bring your awareness back to your breath.

Notice the air moving in and out,

The support beneath you,

The space around you.

Breathe in and out.

Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes and if your eyes are closed softly blink them open.

Take one last deep breath in and sigh it out.

You are ready.

You are enough and you are unstoppable.
