I'm going to take you on a journey.
Find a comfortable seat on your bed,
A chair cross-legged on the floor,
An open body posture,
Your palms facing up as you gently close your eyes.
Trust you are in the exact place you are meant to be.
Feel the ground you're sitting on while you hear my voice and start feeling heavier and heavier.
Breathe in,
Feeling a sense of opening.
Breathe out,
Feeling stillness and rest.
Breathe in and open.
Breathe out as you let go.
Feel the life and energy in your body.
Breathe in and open.
Breathe out and let go.
Thoughts may come up.
If they do,
Let them go and come back to your breath.
And with each breath you're falling deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Again,
Breathe in and open.
Breathe out and let go.
Now I want you to start at your head and envision a glowing white light slowly running down the top of your head.
As it starts running down your forehead,
Feel a warm sensation,
A sense of complete relaxation.
Any tension in your forehead just slowly melts away.
Now the white light is moving down over your eyebrows,
Over your eyelids,
Running down over your ears,
Completely relaxing your entire face,
Moving down over your lips and jaw,
Letting any tension go.
Feeling the warmth and any tension you're holding on to melt away as the light moves down your body.
Your head is now completely immersed in this white light,
Feeling relaxed,
Letting go of any tension.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Now the light is moving down your neck.
Any knots,
Any pain just melt away.
Thoughts may come up,
Just let them go.
Come back to your breath.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Breathe in and breathe out.
The white light is now running over the tops of your shoulders as they completely fall free of any tension,
With each breath becoming more and more relaxed.
The warm sensation moves down over your chest,
Over your heart,
Over your lungs,
Where any tension or heaviness just melts away.
Everything you're holding on to is being completely let go.
Feel the warmth down your arms,
Relaxing all the way to your fingertips.
Feel the light down your back,
One vertebrae at a time,
Becoming more and more relaxed by this warm light.
The light is down over your hips and pelvis,
Letting any tension go,
Completely melt away.
Down over the top of your legs,
Your hamstrings and your thighs,
Feeling completely relaxed.
Down over your knees,
Over your calves and shins,
Over your ankles.
The warm light moves all the way down to completely cover your toes.
Your entire body feels the warm sensation,
Feels the light,
Feels completely relaxed.
The warm sensation moves down over your chest,
Over your hips,
Over your knees,
Over your ankles.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Feel your body completely relaxed,
All of the tension has melted away,
Everything you've held on to is completely melted away.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Breathe in and breathe out.
With each breath,
Slowly coming back into the room.
When you're ready,
Slowly move your fingertips and your toes.
Slowly open your eyes.
