Hi and welcome to the Breathing to the Chakras meditation.
This is a powerful meditation for moving energy through the body and clearing any blocked energy that may be present.
So let's sit comfortably.
Our back is upright,
Hands are in our lap with our palms facing upward.
Let's settle in and relax.
First we're going to locate each of the seven main chakras in the body.
Then we will bring in the energy and move it through the chakras.
These seven energy centers run up the meridian of your body,
The center line.
I will go through the chakras one by one.
The first chakra is known as the root chakra and it rests right at the base of your spine.
The second chakra,
The sacral,
Is located in the pelvis near your sacrum.
The third chakra is the solar plexus chakra.
It sits over your stomach and under your diaphragm.
The fourth chakra is the heart chakra and it's located in the center line of your body right near your heart.
The fifth chakra is the throat chakra and that's located at the hollow of your collarbone.
The sixth chakra is the brow chakra located just above and between the two eyebrows on the forehead over the bridge of the nose.
The seventh chakra is the crown and it's located at the top of your head.
The first chakra connects us to the earth and the seventh chakra connects us to the universe.
It's important that we sit upright and aligned,
Stacking our chakras so that energy can flow freely.
Our first chakra rooted to the earth,
Our seat or a cushion,
And our seventh chakra drawn to the sky.
The chin is gently tucked as we find ourself aligned and connected.
If you haven't done so already,
Let's close our eyes.
We will put our attention on each point,
Drawing our breath in through the chakra and out the crown of the head,
Moving our attention up the body to the next chakra with each breath.
Let's begin.
Let's direct our attention to the first chakra right at the base of your spine and as we breathe in,
Imagine we're drawing the breath in through the chakra,
Up the center line of the body,
And out through the crown of the head.
Breathe in and out through the crown of the head.
Direct the attention to the second chakra near the sacrum.
Breathe in through the chakra and out the crown of the head.
Direct the attention to the third chakra,
The solar plexus,
Right above your belly button,
Below the diaphragm.
Breathe in to the chakra and breathe out through the crown of your head.
Direct the attention to the fourth chakra,
The heart chakra.
Breathe in and breathe out through the crown of the head.
Direct the attention to the fifth chakra,
The throat chakra.
Breathe in and out through the crown of the head.
Direct the attention to the sixth chakra,
Right between your eyebrows.
Breathe in and out through the crown of your head.
Direct the attention to the seventh chakra,
The crown of the head.
Breathe in and out through the crown of the head.
Again,
Let's breathe in to the base of the spine.
Breathe in and out through the crown of the head.
Breathe in to the second chakra,
Right at your sacrum.
Breathe in and out through the crown of your head.
Breathe in to the third chakra,
The solar plexus.
Breathe in and out through the crown of your head.
Breathe in to the heart chakra.
Breathe in and out through the crown of your head.
Breathe in to the throat chakra.
Breathe in and breathe out through the crown of your head.
Breathe in to the brow chakra.
Breathe in and out through the crown of your head.
Breathe in to the crown of the head.
Breathe in and breathe out through the crown of the head.
Let's do another sequence together.
Breathe in to the first chakra,
The base of your spine,
And breathe out through the crown of your head.
Breathe in to the second chakra,
The sacrum,
And out through the crown of your head.
Breathe in to the third chakra,
The solar plexus,
And breathe out through the crown of your head.
Breathe in to the heart chakra and out through the crown of the head.
Breathe in to the throat chakra and out through the crown of the head.
Breathe in to the brow chakra and out through the crown of the head.
Breathe in to the crown of the head and breathe out the crown of the head.
Continue breathing through your chakras in silence until I guide you out.
At the end of your next sequence,
Breathe normally.
Let your body settle,
Let your energy settle,
And breathe easy.
Feel the energy in your body and breathe easy.
And when you're ready,
Always in your own time,
You can slowly open your eyes.
Your energy should flow more smoothly now.
You should be able to feel your full flow of energy and be able to take on whatever is ahead of you.
