Hello.

Welcome to this simple gratitude meditation.

One of the keys of getting what we want in life is by acknowledging what we already have.

So take a moment to get comfortable.

Set your feet firmly on the ground.

Make your spine nice and straight in a relaxed yet wakeful posture.

Start to close your eyes and draw awareness to your inner world.

Connect to that space within the oneness that exists within you.

Bring your attention to your breath.

The slow inhale and slow exhale.

Finding that comfortable resting easy breath to guide you through this practice.

At the end of the practice you may hear a soft bell to signify the end of our practice.

We will be going through five areas of our life and cultivating gratitude for each area.

As we go through each area of our life just bring to mind what you feel grateful for in this area.

Be patient with yourself as the words come to you.

There's no pressure,

No standards to meet here.

This is just a practice.

When we finish the meditation you may feel called to journal or write these ideas down so that you can be reminded of them for a longer period of time.

I encourage you to do this as it will help solidify this gratitude this feeling of gratitude in your mind and in your heart.

So let's begin with the first area.

We're going to bring conscious gratitude awareness to our livelihood and lifestyle.

Here you may bring gratitude for certain aspects of your career,

Your work or your home life.

You may bring attention to your possessions or material items.

Think about the resources you have available to you.

Draw gratitude in for all of these things that make up your livelihood and your lifestyle.

Next we're going to bring gratitude awareness in for our body.

Picture your physical body and all of its capabilities.

Bring gratitude to your overall wellness,

Physical and emotional health.

Draw attention to the amount of nutrition that you receive and exercise that you get.

Bring gratitude awareness to the activity that your body is able to do and the amount of rest that you get on a daily basis.

Next we will bring gratitude awareness to our creativity and our ability to learn and grow.

Now's the time to bring gratitude to your educational background,

Your hobbies,

Your passions and interests.

Think about your artistic endeavors and special skills.

All of this makes you unique,

Special and interesting.

Bring gratitude to these things.

Now is the time to shift our gratitude awareness toward our relationships and our society.

Think about your family relationships.

Who in your family are you particularly grateful for?

Your friends,

Your neighbors and your community at large.

Bring gratitude to the society that we live in,

That you are a living part of.

Finally we will bring gratitude awareness to our essence and spirituality.

Take this time to thank yourself and bring gratitude for all of your spiritual practices,

Rituals and routines that bring you peace of mind,

That bring your soul a sense of peace.

Give thanks for your intuition and your internal faith and guidance system.

Now in the final moments of our guided meditation on gratitude,

Just take a moment and think of anything else that lights you up.

Bring gratitude to what you have right now because remember a grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.

Loved the outro line “Remember, a grateful heart is a magnet for miracles”. From a purely secular perspective I think there is so much truth in this mindset, it’s when I stop to appreciate how lucky I am that I tend to notice life chucking me more nice surprises along the way. Great guided meditation and beautiful voice.
