Good morning,

Good evening,

Good afternoon.

Today I have a special meditation for you that I created this week based off of a book that I've been reading.

The book is called The Untethered Soul.

It's written by Michael E.

Singer,

Michael A.

Singer.

So the meditation was inspired by this book but it's not like a meditation book.

I'm not reading this as a meditation from the book.

I was just reading the book and then later on I experienced a stressful situation and I found myself getting wrapped up in worries and stress and giving into the stressful situation and allowing myself to get all worked up about it.

And then the words from this book started coming back through my mind and honestly it really soothed my whole situation.

The situation was I was running late for a doctor's appointment and I missed a term and so I got myself all stressed out.

I had a solid five minutes where there was nothing I could do except be in my stress or to just be in my car on my way to the doctor.

These are the things I started saying to myself to help me relieve the stress.

By the time I got to my doctor's appointment I was not stressed.

In fact I felt really free and I felt relieved of my stress.

So today's meditation is called Affirmations to Relieve Stress and Feel Free.

Take a moment to settle in,

Finding your feet on the floor,

Hands in your lap,

Eyes slightly open or slightly closed.

Take three breaths,

Just as is.

Whenever you encounter a stressful situation and find yourself working on it,

You can just find yourself wrapped up in stressful thoughts because of an external situation.

You can come to realize that all disturbances of the mind actually come from within and the external stimulus is just showing you a disturbance in your own internal mind.

So when you find yourself stressed out,

Instead of giving in to the stress and telling stories about what's going to happen next or kicking yourself or getting yourself in the situation to begin with,

Try saying these sentences instead.

This is not my disturbance.

I am not disturbed by this.

My disturbance is within.

This challenge in my path is a chance to remove a blockage.

If I give in to this blockage,

I stoop to a lower vibrational level.

I can transcend this disturbance.

I transcend this disturbance by shifting my perspective.

I see the obstacle again with new eyes and I thank the obstacle for the opportunity to transcend.

Thank you for helping me chip away the crust covering my blocked energy centers.

Thank you for the chance to transcend.

I need not be involved in this drama.

I am enjoying life.

I am at peace.

I realize that disturbance stemmed from my external world not matching my internal expectations.

I realize that disturbance stemmed from my external world not matching my internal expectations.

Instead,

I adjust my internal expectations and make peace with the present obstacle or disturbance.

I understand this challenge isn't meant to bring me down.

This challenge is a chance to let go.

This challenge offers me an opportunity to be freer than I was before.

I feel more free now than I did before I cared about that disturbance.

And now I forget why I was worried about that disturbance in the first place.

I have transcended my anger around the situation.

I am at peace.

My inner energy is not disturbed.

My inner self is calm and satisfied.

Taking a few more deep breaths to close out the affirmations portion of this meditation.

Before we depart today,

Make a promise to yourself that instead of getting wrapped up in today's drama,

Instead you're going to let it go at the heart level.

Before the stress reaches your mind,

Before you even get a chance to think about it,

Let it go at the heart level.

Let it go at an energetic level.

There's no need to be worried.

There's no need to be stressed.

Life is unfolding just as it should,

Showing us places where we can be more open,

Showing us where we can be more free.
