I Am - Lent Day 33: Love That Conquers Death

Imagine standing in a place of loss—grief, disappointment, or despair. Jesus stood before Lazarus’ tomb, weeping. He felt the pain of death. And yet, He called forth life. “I am the Resurrection and the Life.” Love is stronger than death. Love does not abandon. Love enters the darkest places and calls forth light. Where do you need to trust that love has the final word? Christ’s love is already at work, even when you cannot see it. Even when the tomb seems sealed shut. Through this meditation, find the help to trust in God's love that never fails. Be reminded that resurrection always comes. Always.

Thinking again about Lazarus and his experience. That he, Jesus’s friend, carried the experience of death. This was a powerful reflection.

This was tough for me. But it’s real I and life and light. I truly believe the Lord sent you to me at such a time as this. It’s not emotional, it’s deep in my awakening soul.

I pictured a situation I was aware of and knew I needed to go back to, it was really difficult but I felt this meditation went part of the way to healing from this. Thank you 🙏🏻
