Welcome.
This is a place for the parts of you that have been waiting to be heard.
This isn't about being fixed or becoming louder.
It's about allowing ourselves to be heard and to be our authentic selves.
So when you're ready,
Find a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down.
Let your eyes close gently,
Like you're slowly retreating into your own inner world.
Take a long,
Slow breath in,
And exhale fully out of the mouth.
Let yourself arrive in your body now.
This is a space where you don't need to perform,
You don't need to be impressive,
And you don't even need to know what you need right now.
If you have lived with social anxiety,
Mutism,
Or the heavy weight of invisibility,
Know that you are not alone.
This is a practice of presence,
Not transformation.
You're not here to become someone else.
You're here to relax and melt into who you already are.
So let's begin with a breath now.
Inhale slowly through the nose,
And exhale gently through the mouth.
Do that two more times in your own time.
Feeling your shoulders fall away from your ears.
Feel your jaw soften,
And feel your face return to its natural resting position.
Now bring your awareness to your throat.
Notice now what lives here.
Tension.
Silence.
Pressure.
Emptiness.
All of it is welcome.
Let's say inwardly now,
Or out loud,
If that works for you.
It is safe to express through my voice,
When I am ready.
My silence has always been a part of me too.
My voice is not a performance.
It is presence.
Place a hand gently over your heart,
Or your chest,
If that feels grounding for you.
Now just notice,
What are you feeling?
What is your body saying,
Without words?
No need to name it,
Just let it rise.
If a memory or image comes up for you,
From childhood,
From a conversation,
From a time when your voice felt so far away,
Let it pass through without judgement.
You can say,
I see you,
I was there,
But I am safe now.
Take another breath in,
And let it fall out of your mouth,
Like a sigh.
You are not here to become louder.
You are here to become whole,
And to be your true self.
Feel the weight of that truth in your body now.
Feel your body becoming more yours.
How does that feel to you right now?
It may feel uncomfortable at first,
But that doesn't mean it's wrong.
No judgement,
Just accept whatever is coming up for you right now.
When you are ready,
Begin to bring your awareness back to the room,
To the sounds around you,
To your breath,
To the aliveness in your throat and chest.
Wiggle your fingers or toes,
Blink your eyes open now,
Or stay with them closed if you prefer.
Thank you for being here today.
Carry this with you now through the rest of your day.
