This meditation is for those moments when your mind feels crowded with questions.
When you've thought about something from every angle,
Considered every possibility,
Replayed every outcome.
And still don't know what to do.
If you're feeling stuck and overthinking,
Know that you are not alone.
Many of us have spent years believing that if we think long enough,
We'll find certainty.
But often more thinking simply creates more noise.
So today,
Going to practice something different.
Not finding all the answers.
But instead reconnecting with ourselves.
So take a slow breath in now.
And a slow breath out.
Again,
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Allowing your body to settle.
Notice the places where your body is making contact with the surface beneath you.
Feel the grounding.
Now bring awareness to your thoughts.
Notice them moving,
Planning,
Questioning.
Analysing.
Know that they're trying to protect you and trying to keep you safe and there is nothing wrong with this.
Your mind is doing what it believes it needs to do.
But instead of fighting your thoughts,
Simply observe them.
Like clouds passing through a wide sky.
You do not need to follow everyone.
You do not need to solve every problem right now.
So bring your attention back to your breath.
The inhale.
The exhale.
The rhythm.
Now ask yourself gently,
What if I didn't need complete certainty?
What if I only needed enough trust for the next step?
Allow that question to settle.
Many of us wait until fear disappears before we trust ourselves.
But trust is not the absence of fear.
Trust is knowing you can meet yourself on the other side of uncertainty.
Silently repeat,
I do not need all the answers right now.
I can trust myself,
One step at a time.
I am capable of navigating uncertainty.
Imagine placing down all the decisions you have been carrying.
Just for this moment.
Feel the space that creates and the relief.
Possibility.
You are allowed to move forward imperfectly and to learn as you go.
You're allowed to change your mind and to trust yourself.
Take a deep,
Slow breath in through the nose.
And exhale a long breath out through the mouth.
Remember the goal is not to become someone who never doubts themselves.
The goal is to become someone who can move forward even when doubt is present.
Take one final deep breath.
And slowly return your awareness to the room.
And when you're ready.
Gently open your eyes.
You do not need certainty to take your next step,
Just enough trust.
Thank you.
