Welcome to Mind Travel.

The intention of this meditation is to create the space for calm,

Peace,

And presence,

So you can show up as your greatest self any moment of your life.

Let's sit comfortably.

You can use a cushion or chair.

Just make sure you're comfortable.

With the back upright,

Shoulders relaxed.

Relax the face,

The jaw.

Settle and relax.

Gently close the eyes.

Now,

Let's take a few deep breaths together.

Breathe in.

Fully filling the lungs on the inward breath and breathe out.

Fully emptying the lungs on the outward breath.

Breathe in deeply.

Breathe out,

Elongating the exhale.

A deep breath in.

And a long extended exhale.

Notice how your body relaxes on the outward breath.

Keep breathing in this pattern.

Let's count five outward breaths,

Feeling our bodies becoming more relaxed each time.

Breathing in.

One,

The body is relaxing.

Two,

The body feels relaxed.

Three,

All tension is released.

Four,

Letting go of any tension.

Five,

You are deeply relaxed.

Now,

Allow your breath to be normal and natural.

However it is.

Come into deep listening of the music.

Surrendering to the music.

Anytime your thoughts wander or you get distracted,

Just come back to the music.

Keep listening.

Music playing.

You We imagine placing a leaf into a river a River is a wonderful metaphor for the past present and future As the leaf floats down the river Sometimes the waters are calm like life And sometimes the waters become more turbulent like life Sometimes the leaf has to move around obstacles boulders rocks Sometimes the leaf gets caught in whirlpools and eddies But eventually the leaf finds its way down the river The leaf continues to float down the river As the river winds to the right and winds to the left And the leaf floats on Eventually the river comes to merge with the great ocean Eventually the river comes to merge with the great ocean All rivers merge with the great ocean And as the waters from the river merge with the waters of the ocean Transitioning from one to another The leaf continues to float along the surface Continuing on its journey As the leaf floats along the surface of the ocean Should the seas grow rough The waves grow larger The winds stronger As a storm comes in Tossing the leaf from side to side out of control Always in the knowing That no matter how rough the seas No matter how strong the storm No matter how turbulent the waters Just beneath the surface No matter how great the storm above The waters below Are always calm A profound stillness A profound stillness A profound quietude A profound quietude A profound quietude A profound calm A profound calm is always available That profound stillness Amongst all the movement above Is always there No matter what's happening on the surface We can always choose that place That stillness Is always within Always there For our choosing We don't have to wait for everything around us to be calm To feel calm We don't have to wait for everything around us to be peaceful To feel peace Or everything around us to be tranquil To feel tranquility Our state is our choice Your state is your choice It's always right there Within Always there for your choosing Listen deeply Listen deeply to the music Listen deeply to yourself Surrendering to the music Listen deeply to yourself Surrendering to the music Deep listening You Let's imagine what it would be like to access this state of peace and calm in any moment.

To truly be this calm,

This peace,

This presence.

What would it feel like?

What would your life be like?

Notice the emotions,

Thoughts,

Resistance and acceptance.

Whatever you may be experiencing,

Just allow it.

Now,

Keeping the eyes closed,

Let's bring our attention to the body.

Allowing any sensations in the body to settle down.

Whenever you're ready,

Whenever you're comfortable,

Let's slowly open the eyes.

Coming back to our surroundings.

Bringing any movement to the body that feels right.

Your state is always your choice.

We find the freedom to respond to any given situation from this place as our greatest and truest selves.

Move forward with calm,

Peace and presence.
