Today I want to speak to the part of you that's been waiting.
The part of you that maybe feels forgotten or too far gone or too tender to touch.
The part of you that still aches when the world feels too loud.
Your inner child.
She's still there you know.
Not frozen in time,
Not lost,
Not broken.
Just waiting.
Waiting for you to turn towards her.
To see her.
To love her.
To whisper to her the words that she's needed her whole life.
And I know it feels scary sometimes to look back and to meet the little version of yourself that carries so much of what you've tried to forget.
The hurt.
The loneliness.
The moments that you felt invisible,
Unloved,
Not enough,
Unsafe.
But she doesn't need you to fix her.
She doesn't need you to have all of the answers.
She just needs you to stay.
She needs you to look at her.
Really look at her and say I see you.
I know that you're scared.
I know that you're tired.
I know that it hurts.
But you're not alone anymore.
I'm here now.
Because the truth is so much of what you're carrying right now,
The fears,
The doubts,
The way you speak to yourself and no one else is listening,
It's not the adult you.
It's her.
It's the little girl inside of you still trying to make sense of a world that felt too big,
Too harsh,
Too hard.
And you.
You have the power to change that story.
Not by erasing the past.
Not by pretending it didn't happen.
But by becoming the safe space she's always needed.
By showing up for her over and over and over again.
Until she learned it's finally safe to soften.
It's finally safe to breathe.
It's finally safe to stop fighting so hard to be loved.
There is nothing wrong with you.
There never was.
Every wall you built,
Every pattern you've repeated,
Every part of you that's felt too much or not enough,
That was survival.
That was her.
Doing whatever she could to protect herself.
But here's the thing.
You're not that little girl anymore.
And now you get to be the one that holds her.
Who teaches her that love doesn't have to hurt.
That softness isn't weakness.
That she doesn't have to earn her worth and her place in the world.
You get to remind her that she's loved.
That she's safe.
That she's allowed to take up space to feel fully to be held.
And I know this work is tender.
It's sacred.
It will crack you open in ways you never expected.
But what waits for you on the other side is a love so pure,
So deep,
It will change everything.
Because when you meet her,
When you really meet her,
You'll realize she was never broken.
She was just waiting.
Waiting for you to come back.
And you,
You are ready.
Ready to hold her.
Ready to heal.
Ready to come home.
So take a breath.
Place your hand on your heart and just whisper to her now.
I see you.
I hear you.
I feel you.
You're safe now.
I love you.
That's all she's ever needed.
And you have the power to give that to her.
You are doing beautiful work.
You are becoming.
You are healing.
And your inner child,
She is so proud of you.
