You're listening to Adriana and today's meditation is a simple breath awareness meditation.
So welcome to your practice.
Take a moment to settle in here.
Take this time to gently ease your way into your practice,
Finding a supportive and relaxing position for your body.
Just let the busyness of the season just melt away from you.
Now tune into your breath.
Tune into the experience of breathing.
Notice which one of your senses are tuned closest to the breath.
Your sense of hearing,
Or feeling,
Or perhaps seeing.
Witness this experience with the breath fully from the inhales through to the exhales.
Now invite your mind to follow the inhales and your body to follow the exhales.
As you breathe in,
Think awareness.
And as you breathe out,
Feel stillness.
Breath in,
Awareness.
Breath out,
Stillness.
And with every breath cycle,
Your experience simplifies.
With every breath cycle,
The anchor of presence is slowly settling further into this moment.
You may experience an energetic jump out of the cycle due to excitement,
A rush of energy,
A fidgety moment.
Just use these words to thread yourself back to the anchor.
Breath in,
Awareness.
Breath out,
Stillness.
When the mind or body wanders,
The anchor remains through these words.
These next few moments are for you to circulate this awareness and this comfort and signal to your nervous system to feel peace.
Now lengthen your breath,
Deepening the experience,
Taking your time,
Begin to take slow movements with your body,
Softly opening your eyes and gently re-emerging with the room.
