Settle into your space,

Get cozy and comfortable.

Finding that meditation spot either seated or lying down.

When you're there,

Find your breath and just sink into that stillness.

If you haven't already,

Just gaze down or close your eyes,

Melting on in.

Inhale through your nose and sigh it out.

Deep breath in,

Fill up the lungs.

Holding at the top.

Exhale,

Let it go.

Just allow your body to drift into relaxation.

There's nothing else you have to do.

Just be.

Exhale steep.

Exhale to release.

I'm going to tell you a story today.

The story behind the buffalo.

This is a very old story.

But it's still true today.

Once there was a herd of buffalo.

They were grazing all together in a field.

When suddenly a fierce storm crossed the horizon.

The buffalo all gazed up and looked at the storm wall.

And it was as if they had one mind.

They stood tall and proud.

And then began moving.

Slow at first,

Then quicker over time.

They began to charge into the storm.

As they met the storm,

They kept running.

In relentless pursuit of the other side.

This storm was filled with thunder and lightning.

It was so violent.

But to the buffalo,

The storm was short lived.

Because they ran through it.

On the other hand,

Nearby a herd of cows looked up.

And they saw that same storm.

They began to nervously glance at one another.

And were unsure of what they should do.

As the storm wall got closer,

One of them got scared.

Turned away from the storm.

Began to run.

Out of fear and indecision.

Some of the other cows decided to follow suit.

They did the same running away from the storm.

Unfortunately the entire herd got caught in that storm for much longer than they wanted.

You see they were moving in the same direction as the storm.

And they suffered because of their decision to turn away from it.

In this life,

You will face many storms.

You will have to choose each time if you will be like the buffalo or the cow.

You will have to make your decision before the storms cross the horizon.

Deep breath in.

Just let everything go.

Life is all about decisions and choices.

And know that deep inside you,

Deep in your DNA,

Even from that first cell that was developed when you were in your mother's womb,

You have an internal buffalo.

You have strength and resilience.

And you know that you can meet decisions and storms and challenges in your life head on.

You don't have to shy away.

You can be brave.

You can take the path that others don't.

You can face your fears head on.

Inhale deep.

Exhale release.

It's not always going to be easy.

But it's so worth it.

It's so worth it to push through life's challenges,

To go through that storm,

To ride it out,

Maybe even with others.

And know that going through the storm makes it so much shorter.

You don't have to live in fear or indecision anymore.

You have what it takes.

You can overcome your obstacles.

Face your fears.

Just choose to be the buffalo every time.

Facing up.

Facing the storms of life.

Inhale deep.

Exhale release.

You are a person who lives life to its fullest.

You're not here simply just to survive.

You're here to live fully.

Discover your inner confidence.

Discover who you're really made of.

That strength and courage within you.

Use that as your guiding north star.

Inhale deep.

Exhale release.

Now that you see this new vision for your life,

Take this story with you into your day.

Slowly begin to return back to life.

Maybe wiggling your fingers and toes,

Deepening the breath.

Slowly reawakening,

Becoming aware of your surroundings.

Fluttering your eyes open and go about the rest of your day.

Thank you so much for taking this time together with me.

Namaste.
