The Mind-Body-Spirit connection is real and is a key component to healing from the inside-out from your cancer. This meditation allows you to recognize the power you have within your mind and body to begin healing through your thoughts and with your breath. The power to heal is truly within you.

This is a meditation to help anyone who might feel somewhat powerless in their current situation.

I want you to find a comfortable spot where you can sit and be with yourself for the next five minutes or so.

As you come into this place,

Sit,

Lie down,

Do whatever you need to get yourself comfortable.

Begin to turn your intention inward and focus on your breath.

Go ahead and close your eyes.

Try to bring your body to a place of calm,

Stillness,

Some relaxation.

Sometimes it feels good to tense all of your muscles.

Make them tight,

Tight,

Tight.

Hold it and then release.

Let's do that one more time.

We'll take a deep breath in.

As you inhale,

Tense all of your muscles.

Squeeze them tight.

Hold here for a moment.

Then on your exhale,

Go ahead and release.

Good.

Now let's just continue to focus on your breath.

Taking some gentle inhales in through your nose.

Exhale through your nose or mouth,

Whichever feels most intuitive to you today.

Keep this going for a few breath cycles as you continue to calm your mind and relax your body.

Friend,

I want you to remember that you are safe in this space and you are also safe within your own body.

Your body has been through everything with you.

She and you are a team.

Remember what you tell yourself in your mind your body hears.

She is listening to your thoughts and your fears.

Let's take another breath in and slowly let it out.

My friend,

You are in control of your thoughts.

You have the power to control what story you tell your body.

Let's take another breath in and again let it out.

I want you to spend the next few minutes repeating these phrases after me.

You can do this in your head or I encourage you to say them out loud to yourself if you are able.

Here we go.

I want you to say,

I am safe in my body.

We are a team.

I have love and respect for her.

We are strong.

We are enough.

We are healthy.

I am in control of my thoughts.

Where my intention goes,

Energy flows.

Let's stay here for a second and remember this all while continuing to take our slow breaths in and out.

Where my intention goes,

Energy flows.

I want you to set your intention right now.

Remind yourself and your body that you are safe,

You are loved,

And you are living.

You are worthy of this life.

You are deserving of good health.

You are strong and you hold all of this power inside of you.

Let's take another deep breath in and a slow exhale.

Start to bring some awareness back to your body.

Maybe wiggle your fingers or your toes.

When you feel ready,

Gently open your eyes and remember through the use of your breath you can call on this power throughout the rest of your day.
