
Cancer Meditation: Healing With Love

It can be challenging to feel love and warmth for your body when you are diagnosed with cancer. Today's meditation will allow you to explore healing through love.
Often when diagnosed,
The self-talk in your mind turns to frustration,
Disgust,
Or even hate for what is happening inside your body.
But it is important to remember the thoughts you speak in your mind your body hears.
Your soul responds to the negative energy and it's not always the response we want.
The goal of this meditation is to support healing from a different direction.
One that brings your spirit,
A spirit of love and kindness to your cancer.
Stay with me in this place of comfort and safety today.
As we get started,
I want you to find a comfortable place where you can dedicate the next few minutes to yourself,
To your soul,
Your mind,
And your body.
Get yourself seated or lying down,
A place where you feel supported and at ease.
As you settle in,
Wiggle in,
Do your last few movements to get set.
And gently find yourself in a place of stillness and anticipation of what's to come.
Allow those last thoughts to come into your mind.
Smile slightly and tell your mind it's okay.
It's time to quiet down.
It's okay to let go of the daily stressors and the pressure to do more,
To be more,
To think more.
In these minutes to come,
Your only task is just to be.
Your soul is your life force.
It is the essence of your being.
It is powerful and can bring healing to you,
Your mind,
And your body when called on.
Your soul moves with your breath.
Let's focus on that breath now.
Do not force the breath.
First,
Just notice it moving gently through your body as you allow the breath to flow in and out.
Let's do that one more time,
A gentle breath,
Just letting our spirit,
Mind,
And body communicate as one.
Now on this next inhale,
Let's deepen it slightly as we begin to feel our abdomen rise with the inhale.
Slowly exhale the air out,
Either through your nose or mouth,
Whichever feels most intuitive to you today.
Open your heart as you feel your body relax.
Relax your face and your jaw.
Even focus on relaxing your eyelids.
Feel your shoulders get heavy.
And with the next exhale,
Whenever it comes,
Feel your chest gently relax downward.
Feel your belly soften,
Your hips and your glutes release.
Calm your legs.
Feel your body settle into the space you are taking up.
Feel grounded,
Supported,
And at peace as you are one with the earth and surface resting beneath you.
Recognize in this moment,
You are opening to the true essence of spirit,
Mind,
Body connection.
Today as you continue to breathe,
I want you to focus on love,
Allowing your heart space to open.
Not just to send love to yourself and others in your life,
But also to openly receive the love and healing other souls are sending back to you.
You are safe here.
You are loved.
You are not the mistakes of the past,
And it is okay to move forward from here.
You are balanced.
As your breath flows throughout your body,
Continue to open your heart.
Allow your soul to bring a soft white light to your heart space.
As you visualize this light,
Know it is your soul taking on the form of a light in your body.
Feel this connection.
Honor the presence of your soul.
Say thank you for being a part of this practice today.
Again,
Focus and feel your breath move through your body.
Continue to come back to the feeling of love.
In your mind's eye,
See or visualize someone or something you love very much.
Maybe your child,
Your partner,
Or an animal companion,
See this image and recognize the warmth and unconditional love you feel.
Now send that love,
That same warmth and unconditional feeling,
Send that love to your cancer.
Do not overthink this.
Just move the warmth and the love to the area of your body that needs healing.
Allow that white light from your heart space to shine over to the area that needs healing.
Continue to chant in your mind,
Love,
Love,
Love,
Love.
You my friend are not damaged.
You are radiant.
You are whole just as you are.
You are balanced and are deserving of healing.
Again,
Picture someone or something that loves you.
Feel the love,
The kindness,
The grace this person or animal gives you.
Accept it.
Feel balanced and loved.
Move that love to the area of your cancer.
Select the here and now for what it is and know through love your soul can begin to heal you.
Continue with your breath and opening your heart space.
As the breath flows in and out,
Focus again back on the white light warming your chest.
Feel the air flow through your body just as love flows in and around you.
Be open to receiving the well wishes of others.
Kind words,
Good karma,
And heaven sent prayers are all important to your healing.
Your soul needs and deserves to be nourished.
These loving acts support this.
Embrace that energy.
Let love in.
Let the love in.
Let it in.
Open your heart space to receive love from the world around you.
You are deserving of this love.
You are deserving of balance and connection to those around you.
This space is safe.
Your cancer needs love.
Your body needs to hear that you are not angry.
Your mind needs to use this voice of grace and forgiveness.
Your soul needs to trust that you are open to the healing process.
I'm going to say a phrase now and I want you to mindfully with confidence and an open heart repeat that phrase after me out loud if you can or if it's better quietly in your head.
I am love.
I am love.
I am light.
I am safe in my body.
My soul will heal me.
I am loved.
I deserve love.
I love my body.
Love is all around me.
I will give love.
I will receive love.
Good now I want you to just gently come back to your breath.
See the white light in your heart space and know it is sending love and warmth to your body and to the bodies of others who also need to feel loved today.
We focus on love here so that you are more capable of recognizing and receiving love out there.
Your soul needs your love.
As we begin to end today's practice I want to say thank you to your spirit for the healing action it has already started within you.
Say it together with me.

Thank you.
A few more closing breaths here at your own pace.
And as you begin to slowly bring awareness back to your arms,
Your legs,
Your neck,
Maybe wiggle your fingers,
Gently roll your neck side to side.
I want you to feel the change that has already happened inside of you.
Feel the love that is flowing throughout your body.
Welcome this light and love as you continue to find strength and healing throughout your day today.

So glad your meditations came up on a search for surgical wound healing. Having been through the battles and blessings many times, it is easy to see your body as failing. The negative self talk drowns out the hope, love, and soul fire. This is also bookmarked as a daily reminder that scars have stories of victory.
