Hello,

Beautiful soul.

Today's meditation will focus on the importance of your spirit in the healing process.

You hold so much power inside of your being.

Today is a reminder that the central focus of healing from the inside out starts with your soul.

So let's start to turn inward.

Let's find a comfortable place,

Either seated or lying down,

And give yourself permission as you get comfortable to just let go of the world around you.

It will be there when we are done.

But throughout this meditation,

I want you to find yourself in your own space,

In your own safe place inside your mind and body,

And really begin to focus on inviting your soul forward.

Now that you're in a comfortable place,

Let's invite stillness to the body.

Once still,

Let's begin to quiet the mind,

Recognizing this may take some time and practice.

As thoughts about yesterday or later today come into the mind,

Acknowledge the thought.

Kindly let it pass like a cloud floating by.

Do not be harsh on yourself.

These thoughts will come and they will go.

The internal chatter might be loud or stormy today.

Just remind yourself you're safe here and you are capable of remaining present in this moment.

If you have not already,

I invite you to close your eyes.

And now,

With a relaxed body and a calmed mind,

Let's engage with our spirit's power.

We will do this first by focusing on our breath.

Not forcing the breath initially,

But just recognizing that you are moving air in and out of your body.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest.

Feel the air moving in through your nose,

The gentle exhale either through your nose or mouth.

I want you to do this a few more times,

A few more inhales and exhales at your own pace before we begin to draw those breaths out.

Now with this next inhale,

I want you to visualize a light in the center of your abdomen.

Color,

Size,

Exact location is not important,

But as you begin to deepen your inhale,

I want you to notice the light grows brighter with each inhale.

When you get to the top of the inhale,

Go ahead and let the exhale out of your mouth slowly and controlled.

We're going to do that a few more times,

Focusing first on the light in the abdomen.

As you inhale,

Again,

Feel the air first come from into your abdomen and strengthen the inhale and visualize that light growing brighter and starting to expand and follow the breath.

Hold it slightly at the top and again,

Slowly exhale,

Blowing air out of the mouth.

One more time with the inhale from the belly,

Light growing and starting to expand out in all directions from your abdomen,

Especially to the location of any discomfort or concern in your body.

And as you exhale,

Slowly through your mouth,

Allow that light to stay shining.

One last time as you inhale here,

I want you to not only visualize the light shining outward,

But this time I want you to begin to feel warmth from the rays of the light.

And sometime as you exhale,

When you're ready,

Again,

Another inhale here,

Seeing the light shine throughout your body,

But feeling the warmth it brings to you and all those near and far from you.

Exhale when you're ready.

I'm going to begin talking through a healing practice here,

But as you follow what I say,

I want you to continue to visualize the light and feel its warmth and presence.

I want you to come back to that image if you feel your mind wander or if you're overcome with emotion.

Focus back on the light,

Which is the essence of your soul and the power that is shining through you to bring peace to your mind and healing to your body.

Let's now move into a place of gratitude for the body you have,

Moving the air in and out of your lungs.

Let's feel a sense of love for the mind that allows you to visualize this light and warmth.

But most importantly today,

Let's acknowledge your soul,

The spirit that lives inside you and provides the power to heal your body and mind from the inside out.

It is important to remember here that life is a constant ebb and flow of battles and blessings.

Battles and blessings,

Battles and blessings,

And it is your job to call on your soul in times of fear,

Sorrow,

Worry,

And to bring that light forth from the abdomen and allow the warmth to calm your body and ease your troubled mind.

Because you know and trust that even with the obstacles you face,

Love,

Forgiveness,

Peace are all waiting for you on the other side.

Focus again here on your breath,

Deepening and lengthening your inhale to shine that light to places in your body and mind that need it.

And exhale slowly when ready.

I will remind you here that with this light,

Warmth,

And breath,

You have the power to heal yourself.

And illness is so much more than just a physical ailment,

And that is why today we are focusing on the power of your spirit.

Bringing your spirit forward is absolutely essential to your healing process.

Trust the light and warmth that is inside of you.

Call on this light as you take your next inhale and allow that light to continue to shine outward as you slowly exhale.

Being through the power of your soul focuses on confidence,

Yet patience.

You can do hard things.

You are capable of climbing this mountain and overcoming this next obstacle.

Yet you need to remain patient,

Which sometimes seems so difficult to do.

You must rely on the patience and peace that only your soul can offer you.

So ask for that now.

Tell your soul that strong,

Radiant light in your abdomen to bless you,

To strengthen you,

To heal you.

Say it in your own words now as you inhale slowly and exhale when ready.

Ask your soul to comfort you as you feel chaos,

Anxiety,

And loss of control with everything happening around you.

In your own words,

Tell your soul now exactly what you need today.

Healing through the power of your soul is possible.

Bringing light and warmth and calling on the power of the soul is necessary.

Feel the harmony within your being in this very moment.

Visualize the ability you have to change yourself for the better.

Take your healing in a new direction,

One that your spirit will guide the way.

In times when you feel overwhelmed,

Scared,

Or defeated,

Come back to this place.

Visualize your soul,

Your bright healing energy source in the center of your abdomen.

Connect to that image and feel your light shine throughout you.

Shine that light out on others.

Believe in the power of universal service in your light,

Connecting with the light of others and their souls,

Which lead them.

I am light.

You are light.

We are light.

I am healing.

You are healing.

We are healing.

My soul is power.

Your soul is power.

Our souls are power.

Let's take another deep inhale.

As you move your hands over to the center of your abdomen where you see your soul and light shine.

As we close out this practice today,

Let's say thank you to our soul and acknowledge the power and healing it brings to the mind and body.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Always start to bring some awareness back to your mind and body at this time.

Maybe gently wiggle your hands,

Your toes,

Roll out your wrists and your ankles.

Maybe even a gentle neck sway from side to side.

Give yourself grace and love as you flutter your eyes open and slowly come back to the world around you.

The light and soul in me honors and thanks the light and soul in you.

Remember to use your light.

Guide with your spirit as you move throughout your day today.
