This is going to be a two-part meditation process.

We're going to begin by doing some emotional freedom technique,

EFT,

Tapping,

Which is a combination of modern psychology and ancient Chinese healing techniques of acupressure.

The purpose being to clear negative thoughts or fears or beliefs that may be standing in the way of our healing.

Tapping involves tapping your fingers on different acupressure meridian points on your face and upper torso while speaking certain truths about yourself out loud.

It's a way to release what might be standing in the way of accessing your intuition.

I will lead you through this completely.

So we're going to start by assuming that there is a scale from one to ten and you're going to rate yourself on how fearful and resistant am I to listen and follow my intuition for healing.

So a ten would mean that you were very resistant to following or accessing your intuition,

Maybe even fearful of that.

And then a one would be totally comfortable.

No problem.

Easy to follow my intuition.

So write down what you think your number is right now.

Remember ten is very fearful and resistant.

One is not at all.

Now we start the tapping process with a set up statement.

We acknowledge the issue,

Which in this case is fear and resistance.

And at the same time we accept ourselves anyway.

So we start by tapping on the side of our hand.

Now think of the karate chop point where that might be on your hand.

You tap on the karate chop point with one of your hands on your other hand,

Side of the hand.

I'm going to say a phrase and you'll repeat it after me.

Okay,

Let's give it a try.

In the past I have resisted following my intuition.

Repeat in the past.

I have resisted following my intuition,

But I love myself enough that now I can try.

Repeat that.

I love myself enough that now I can try.

Even though part of me resists trusting my intuition,

Even though part of me resists trusting my intuition or acting on it,

I am open to listening carefully or acting on it.

I'm open to listening carefully.

I'm afraid of what my intuition might suggest.

I'm afraid of what my intuition might suggest,

But I need help with my healing choices.

But I need help with my healing choices.

I love and accept myself no matter what.

I love and accept myself no matter what.

Now we're going to move to the eyebrow point,

Which is where it meets the bridge of your nose.

Tap on that spot right where your eyebrow ends and repeat after me again aloud.

Acting on my intuition is hard for me.

I trust my thinking more than my intuition.

Now follow your eyebrow around to the side of your eye and that's where we're tapping next.

It is hard for me to believe that intuition comes from spirit.

It is hard for me to believe that intuition comes from spirit.

I'm afraid to follow intuitive advice.

I'm afraid to follow intuitive advice.

Now move to under your eye and tap gently.

I guess I'm afraid of being wrong.

I guess I'm afraid of being wrong.

Now moving to under your nose,

Right above your lip.

I want to be open to this guidance.

I want to be open to this guidance.

Especially when I think it is from the universal source.

When I think is from the universal source.

Now your chin under your lip and that indentation.

I want guidance about my health and healing.

I want guidance about my health and healing.

There are so many decisions.

There are so many decisions.

I am ready to listen and be aware more.

I'm ready to listen and be aware more.

Now the collarbone.

Just follow your collarbone from your shoulders down to the center of your chest.

Notice at the end there's little notches.

Just an inch below those notches and you can do with both hands or just one hand.

Those are called the collarbone points.

Tap.

I can choose to believe I'm always guided.

I can choose to believe I'm always guided.

I can be open to listen to my body.

I can be open to listen to my body.

Now move to under the arm about three inches below your armpit.

Tapping.

I choose to trust my intuition.

I choose to trust my intuition.

I very much want the guidance of my higher self.

I very much want the guidance of my higher self.

For my many healing decisions.

For my many healing decisions.

Now just tap on the top of your head.

Gently in the middle of your top of your head.

I choose to be open and available to my intuition.

I choose to be open and available to my intuition.

I am calm as I wait and listen.

I am calm as I wait and listen.

I invite the guidance of spirit through my intuition.

I listen to my body.

I listen to my body.

Stop tapping.

Now rate yourself again between one and ten.

How do you feel now?

Ten is being very fearful and resistant.

And a one is no resistance at all to your intuition.

What is your number now after we did the tapping?

And write that down.

Just know that any movement toward one is considered a win.

And you have moved some of the resistance,

Some of your worry about your intuition aside.

One will be more open to what your intuition might provide.

Let's move into the meditation.

Close your eyes and very gently bring to mind some decision you need to make concerning your health and healing.

Maybe something that came up this week.

A decision you need to make.

Perhaps a choice of therapy or medical care.

Or a next step that you're considering.

Choose one to use for this meditation.

And welcome all the feelings that come along as you think about this situation or decision.

Notice where in your body these feelings seem to have a home.

Scan about and notice where there's tension or heaviness.

Or go to that place in your body that needs the healing.

Or where there is pain or tightness.

And just rest your attention there to see what you might learn.

Take your time.

And if things arise,

You may wish to write them down and then come back to the meditative state and the music.

Now ask,

What would bring forth the most healing?

Be totally open to what might come.

Now,

Ask your body,

What if I do nothing?

Try to listen instead of figuring anything out.

What could I do that would be coming from love?

Listen for anything that feels right or true or that stands out as a resonance with the deepest and most sacred part of you.

What could I do that would come from love?

What would bring forth the most healing?

That brings us to the end of the meditation.

Accept for your journaling.

Take as much time as you like.

Jot down as much as you would like to remember as the music continues to play.

Jot down as much as you would like to remember as the music continues to play.

Jot down as much as you would like to remember as the music continues to play.

Jot down as much as you would like to remember as the music continues to play.

Jot down as much as you would like to remember as the music continues to play.

Jot down as much as you would like to remember as the music continues to play.

Jot down as much as you would like to remember as the music continues to play.

Jot down as much as you would like to remember as the music continues to play.

Jot down as much as you would like to remember as the music continues to play.

Jot down as much as you would like to remember as the music continues to play.

Jot down as much as you would like to remember as the music continues to play.

Jot down as much as you would like to remember as the music continues to play.
