So as we move into prayer,
I invite us to think about those demonstrations that we would seek for ourselves.
God,
Bring me greater abundance and prosperity.
But not just for me,
But for all people everywhere.
God,
Grant me peace of mind and harmony of heart.
Not just for me,
But for everyone.
God,
Grant me physical,
Psychological,
And emotional healing.
Not just me,
But for everyone.
As we pray for both the microcosm that is ourselves and the macrocosm that is all that is,
We know that the space between these two things is small if it exists at all.
We hold that divinity in our hearts,
Not just our own divinity,
But the divinity of every precious being,
Knowing that as we continue to hold that vision of oneness for ourselves and just as importantly everyone around us,
That golden thread that sometimes seems invisible in the midst of chaos and separation within us or around us begins to dissipate.
The mist that is hatefulness,
The mist that is fear begins to fade away and we begin to feel,
To know,
And embody that truth that you are and that I am.
May it bless each of us today.
May it bless all of us today.
And may we continue to keep even that tiniest opening in our heart open to be filled,
Overflowing with this blessing of life that calls,
It demands.
We share it with ourselves and we share it with all.
We let this prayer be.
The seed has been planted.
The root has been set.
And the flowering has begun.
And so it is.
