Good evening,
It is Monday evening and it's time for you now to let loose of the day,
To begin to focus inward,
And to take a few moments to pause,
To let go of the stress of this day,
And to begin to prepare for a wonderful night's sleep.
So gently close your eyes and as you do so,
Take in a deep,
Full breath.
And then simply exhale,
Letting go and becoming centered,
Listening to the sound of my voice,
And listen with more than just your ears,
Listen with your heart,
Listen with your mind,
And listen with your body,
As if every pore on the surface of your skin is listening to this meditation.
Your eyes are closed and you begin to notice the rhythm of your breath as you breathe in and out in a gentle,
Quiet rhythm,
Like the tides of the ocean,
Gently moving silently,
Quietly in and out.
And as you move with the rhythm of your breath,
You feel the gentle rocking and rhythm of your breathing,
Like the gentle ocean.
I want you to imagine that you are standing on a beautiful ocean beach.
It is nighttime and you can see the vastness of the ocean.
You can smell the dampness of the air,
The salt and the water and the earth all mixed together,
Creating that fresh ocean breeze.
Let yourself imagine and experience standing there facing the ocean at night,
A gentle cascade of night is behind you and upon you.
As you look up into the night sky,
You see the gentle stars,
The quiet stars twinkling,
Winking at you from above.
And regardless of what kind of day you've experienced,
Know that the gentle ocean air is blowing across your body,
Blowing away the stress,
The cares,
The concerns,
Helping you to find your balance,
To restore yourself and to help you get back into alignment.
Feel and experience the fresh ocean air and hear the gentle lapping of the water.
Sense the lapping of the water as you stand there barefoot in the sand.
As you dig your toes into the warm sand and underneath the surface,
You feel the coolness of the dampness from the earth,
For the sand has still captured the sunlight and is warm on its surface.
And as you stand there facing the horizon,
You notice the night sky beginning to glow brighter,
Beginning to glow into a brighter and lighter shade of the darkness of the night.
And there rising upon the horizon in the east,
There on this ocean beach,
You notice the moon,
A silvery full moon lifting from the depth of the waters.
That's right,
Lifting up from the depth of the waters is beautiful silvery moon coming up glowing and skidding across the water,
Creating a path of silver light,
Creating a path there upon this ocean beach.
You hear the lapping waves and you feel content standing there upon this beautiful ocean beach.
This path of silver light there upon the surface of the water,
Not quite sure why,
But intuitively you begin to step into the water.
You step upon this silver path that is leading to the full moon.
You step upon the path of the full moon and as you walk upon this silver light,
You realize that you are walking across the water,
The surface of the water itself,
For the silver moon light has strengthened the water to create a path that will help you enter into the night,
Into the depth of your sleep,
Into a healing space as you face the beautiful resonance and vibration of the moon.
You walk now upon this path on the surface of the ocean,
Walking away from the beach,
Walking away from the day that you just experienced knowing that tomorrow is a brand new day and leaving behind the cares and the concerns as you imagine yourself now walking gently across the surface of the ocean towards the beautiful silver light of this moon,
Walking gently,
Quietly into the light of the full moon,
Letting the light now begin to penetrate into your body.
Your body begins to glow with the same light as the moon,
As each cell in your body is absorbing this beautiful healing light,
This comfortable healing balm of the full moon.
Experience it.
Stepping closer,
I will leave you into the silence,
Into the healing vibration of the moon on this Monday evening,
On this moonday evening,
Relax as you drift into the essence of moonlight,
Drifting,
Dreaming,
Sleeping,
Peaceful,
And you drift off to sleep,
A healing sleep,
Letting go,

You may do so by silently counting quietly to yourself from one to five,
Otherwise simply drift now into a deep,
Peaceful,
