Wake up now.
It's time to wake up and start the last day before the weekend.
It's Friday,
And whether this means you have the weekend off or not,
Know that there are millions of people in the world that are excited about today,
And you can tap into their excitement and funnel it into your morning,
Giving you a kickstart of positive energy for today,
This amazing Friday morning that has just begun.
Let yourself settle into your thoughts now,
And whether you have just awakened from a good night's sleep,
Having some beautiful dreams you'd like to record and write down,
Or whether you have been up for a while and you're settling back down,
Take in a deep breath,
And as you exhale,
Simply let go and relax.
That's it.
Your body is completely relaxed.
As you let go of the experiences of this week,
Whether those experiences were enlightening or frustrating,
I'm sure there was a mixture of both,
But let them go for now.
Let them disappear into the veil of the past as you become grounded in this present moment.
Being here now,
In this present moment,
We're going to take a moment to review your week,
To congratulate yourself on the things you did well,
The goals that you met and kept,
The commitments that you followed through on,
The appointments that you showed up on time,
And how well you reached out to others with love,
Caring,
And dignity.
Feel good about this week as you take a moment to review,
To think about those things you did extremely well.
It is important to shift your perception the way you measure a well-lived week.
Most measure it by what they've accomplished and how much they got done physically,
But perhaps you can focus now on a good week by measuring it by how well you became a loving person,
How well you loved and supported yourself and others throughout the week,
How kind and compassionate you behaved,
And you can feel good about that as your new measurement of success.
During this past week,
From Monday to Thursday,
Also let in the memories and remember the times you weren't too proud of,
When you acted in old behaviors or addictive responses,
When you weren't noble or loving,
Where you were in fear or pain.
You don't have to be perfect.
Life isn't a contest.
It is your life,
And sometimes you are prepared for the events that happen,
And sometimes you aren't,
And that's okay.
You don't have to be perfect.
You don't have to act perfectly in all situations.
Review now the times this week where you fell short,
Where you didn't meet a goal,
Where you let yourself fall behind or were late for an appointment,
And forgive yourself right now.
That's right.
Let yourself extend love and forgive yourself.
Give love to yourself.
Be compassionate and let go of the judgments.
Let them dissolve as you take in your next deep breath,
And as you exhale,
Just blow away and release any of the frustrations from this week.
And as we are reviewing your week,
Take some time to embrace and honor what you did well,
And let go of what you didn't do so well,
Learning from those experiences,
Forgiving yourself,
And clearing the way for another exciting day,
And to prepare you for a fun-filled weekend as we review your last four days.
Now I want you to imagine.
Imagine the you you were earlier in the week,
The you you were just a few days ago,
And that you appreciate and want to congratulate all of the wonderful things they did,
To feel proud of you,
And to connect with the part of you that did make those appointments on time,
That did follow through,
That did act out of love and compassion through various times throughout the week.
I want you to imagine that part of yourself,
And to embrace them.
Imagine that you are inviting that part of you inside,
Inside of that colored aura of light that is surrounding you.
Yes,
That same colored light that has been here since Monday.
Perhaps the color has shifted and changed.
Perhaps it is the brilliant intensity of the color,
Or is that pastel,
Lighter shade of the same intense color.
But sense the colored light around you as this beautiful cocoon of light surrounding you.
Imagine that you are embracing and bringing the part of you that you are proud of,
That acted well and behaved in ways that you are proud of throughout the week.
Let that part of you come into the colored aura surrounding you.
Sense that part,
That compassionate caring part,
Entering in,
Bonding,
Connecting and blending with them.
And now feel the gratitude and appreciation expand.
That's it.
Take a moment to simply feel that expand.
Now also sense the part of you that you may even feel embarrassed about or ashamed of.
The part that fell short.
The part you would like to forgive that needs your forgiveness more than anything.
Sense that part of you that was weak,
That got upset,
That became lost or confused.
Love them as well.
For it's easy to love the proud and beautiful parts of ourselves,
But it's the challenge of our spiritual path to also embrace the less than,
The parts that didn't come up and do well,
The parts that fell short.
They deserve your love as well.
They deserve to be loved,
To belong and to know that you value them.
Imagine the part of you that fell short and feel a sense of dignity.
Your value as you fill them with your light on this beautiful Friday morning.
Make peace with yourself.
All of yourself.
The proud and the embarrassing parts.
Relax now.
Inviting them to enter into your aura to embrace the lesser you,
The weakened you.
Forgive them by giving them love and understanding without judgment.
Hold them.
Embrace the parts of you and let yourself blend and strengthen and bond as you bring this part of you inside your colored light,
Inside of the aura and you hold them and embrace.
Relax now.
You can relax now.
You are forgiven.
You are honorable.
You are whole.
Gently with all parts of yourself blended together and stronger,
More empowered,
Take in a deep breath.
That's it.
And begin to draw your attention back into the room as I count from one to three.
And at the count of three,
Being fully present,
Fully back in your body,
Ready to start your Friday and to prepare for a fun-filled weekend.
One,
Two,
Coming up slowly,
And three.
Take a deep breath in,
And welcome back.
