Mike has been a fervent practitioner of all types of yoga since 2008 and learned how to teach yoga and mindfulness to at-risk youth in an intensive workshop with the Holistic Life Foundation, a Baltimore based non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing the wellness of children and adults in underserved communities. Mike completed his 200-hour yoga teacher certification at Yoga Vidya in Albany, NY and has been teaching community yoga/Mindfulness for the past five years. Mike is dedicated to using yoga and mindfulness as a tool to improve the wellbeing of underserved communities.
