Secrets

This meditative poem intends to release us from the many secrets we keep. We keep many secrets in our hearts. Of how we really are beneath the layers. Of who we really are beyond the roles and expectations. We hide behind our secrets denying ourselves the sovereignty of standing in our unique light with all we have to offer when we are true to who we are beyond expectations. Secrets can become lies that we tell ourselves; there initially to protect us but over time they can become restrictive.
