Welcome and thank you for joining me today in a guided meditation to assist you in calming,

Relaxing,

And finding peace.

To begin,

Find a seat or if you prefer a comfortable reclined position,

You can find a soft downward gaze with your eyes or softly flutter the eyes closed.

Picturing yourself in a beautiful place.

This place is quiet.

This place is comfortable in temperature.

You can feel the warmth of the air on your skin.

You can feel the ground supporting you,

Your bones against your seat.

You notice in this place you are surrounded by cherry blossoms.

And on this particular day,

The wind is blowing those blossoms.

Chaotically they swirl through the air with no direction in sight.

Simply chaos.

These blossoms are symbolic of the thoughts that overwhelm your space in your mind.

Your mind is beautiful,

Quiet,

And serene.

Yes it's true.

In moments your mind is filled with cherry blossoms swirling in a chaotic manner with no rhyme or reason.

The thoughts they come up and go away.

And here you are in your beautiful,

Peaceful place.

Watching the blossoms as they all fall to the ground.

You control the wind.

Let the thoughts,

The blossoms settle.

Feel the stillness.

You are the wind.

If the blossoms begin to stir,

Quiet them with your breath.

Inhaling deeply.

Exhaling deeply.

Inhaling deeply.

Exhaling deeply.

Feel the temperature in the room.

On your skin.

In your place.

Feel your bones supported by the seat beneath you.

Feel your breath.

Inhaling.

Moving down your body.

Exhaling.

Moving up your body.

Feel the stillness and know that this place of serenity is within you.

Always here.

It is the noise,

The cherry blossoms that fill up the gaps and create chaos.

Come back to your breath.

Find stillness.

Find softness.

Find ease.

When you are ready,

Flutter your eyes open.

Waking your fingers and toes,

Wrists,

Ankles.

Finding a little movement.

Placing your hands together at your heart center.

Acknowledging the work that you have done here today.

Acknowledging the strength that you have to create beauty and peace within you.

I am in awe of your power,

Your grace and your perseverance.
