Welcome to your 3 minute meditation.
To begin,
Make your way into a comfortable seated position,
Sitting tall within the curves of your spine.
Take a deep breath in to welcome all aspects of yourself and a long exhale to release any expectations of what your practice should be like.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
When the mind begins to wander,
That's okay.
Try to see the voice inside as ocean waves that meet the shore,
Sometimes loud and big,
Sometimes quiet and gentle.
Welcome your thoughts just as the shore welcomes the waves,
But let them go in the same way,
Without holding on to them and without any judgement.
Inhale and exhale.
Very gently and without opening your eyes become aware of your surroundings.
Then begin to bring some movement into your fingers.
Gently blinking your eyes open.
Take one big inhalation as you reach both arms up and exhale bring your hands down to your heart,
Going down and thanking yourself for showing up today.
