This is a guided meditation to ground you into the present moment and connect you to yourself and the earth around you.

As we begin,

Please ensure you are in a safe place to close your eyes and that you are not operating any machinery.

Additionally,

I encourage you to check in with yourself and ensure that your body is offering a wholehearted yes to this process.

Trusting this is the case,

Take a deep breath in,

Filling your lungs,

And exhale slowly,

Already inviting the support of air and the earth around you.

As you invite this support,

Allow yourself to become 10% more comfortable,

Whatever that looks and feels like for you.

Now,

Bring your attention to the top of your head and imagine a white light shining from the top of your head,

Extending high into the heavens above you.

This light is connecting you to the cosmos,

The universal energy holding all things together.

Feel the power and the freedom of this warm light and envision it spreading through the top of your head,

The back of your head,

And your forehead,

Releasing any tension or stress.

Allow this light to spread down through your eyes,

Cheeks,

And jaw,

Loosening any tightness in your face.

Feel this light spreading down through your neck and shoulders,

Melting away any knots or stiffness.

Allow this light to continue down through your arms and hands,

Releasing any tension in your muscles and letting your hands become soft and relaxed.

Now,

Feel this warm,

Soothing light spreading down through your chest and stomach,

Softening any tightness or discomfort.

Allow this light to continue down through your hips and thighs,

Releasing any tension in your legs and letting them become soft and relaxed.

Finally,

Feel this warm,

Soothing light spreading down through your calves and feet,

Releasing any remaining tension in your body.

Allow your feet to feel rooted and grounded to the earth below you.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Imagine roots growing from the bottom of your feet,

Extending deep into the earth below you.

These roots are connecting you to the earth and grounding you in this present moment.

Feel the strength and stability of these roots,

Anchoring you to the ground.

As you continue breathing deeply,

Allow yourself to feel a sense of peace and calm wash over you.

Feel the earth supporting you,

Holding you up,

And nurturing you.

Allow yourself to feel a deep sense of connection to the earth and all living things.

Know that you are a vital part of this ecosystem,

And your presence here matters.

Now,

Take one more deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Let go of any remaining tension or stress.

Know that you can return to this feeling of grounding and connection to the earth anytime you need it.
