Today is an invitation to rest without guilt. For many people, slowing down brings up an internal pressure to remain productive, useful, or available. Even when the body is tired, the nervous system may resist rest because it has learned that pausing is unsafe or undeserved. This session gently introduces a new possibility: that you can rest without earning it, losing momentum or letting anyone down. Rest is not quitting. It is not laziness or failure. It is an intelligent and necessary part of regulation, restoration and returning to yourself. Optional journal prompt: What thoughts or sensations arise when I truly allow myself to rest—even briefly?
