The other morning I woke up angry. And with the anger came guilt and shame. I whispered an apology to God, then quickly listed my blessings, trying to cover it up. Gratitude is powerful, but that day I realized something deeper: before gratitude, we must give ourselves permission to be honest. To let the shadow speak. When I finally spoke my truth—raw and unfiltered—something shifted. My body released, my spirit softened, and I felt God hold it all. That’s when gratitude returned, not as a bandage, but as truth. This meditation, Give It to God, was born from that experience. It’s a space to lay down your burdens, speak what’s really inside, and let the Divine carry it for you—without guilt, without shame, only love.

Take a deep breath and close your eyes.

With each inhale,

Draw in light,

Gentle,

Soft and luminous.

And with each exhale,

Let go,

Releasing the weight,

The tightness,

The holding on.

Breathe in light and breathe out all that is no longer needed.

Let this moment be your only task.

You are here and that is enough.

Now see a single ray of light descending from the heavens,

Gently entering through the crown of your head.

It is God's presence,

Pure,

Steady and luminous.

This light pools into your heart until a radiant star is born at the center of your chest.

The star glows,

Pulsing with your essence and radiates outward in every direction.

Around you gather the archangels.

To your right,

Michael,

The protector.

To your left,

Raphael,

The healer.

In front,

Uriel,

The wisdom-bearer.

And behind you,

Gabriel,

The messenger of truth.

Above you is Metatron,

The keeper of divine alignment.

And below you,

Sandalphon,

Anchoring you to the rhythm of the earth.

Their wings extend,

Weaving into a luminous cocoon of light.

You are surrounded,

Sealed in a crystalline sanctuary of divine protection.

You are safe,

You are seen,

And you are held.

In this cocoon of light,

A golden door appears before you.

You step through,

Beyond the door is a vast expanse of divine love.

The light here is alive,

It is intelligent,

It is all-embracing.

It surrounds you and moves through you,

Without fear,

Without judgment,

And without condition.

Here you are invited to speak,

To pour out the truth,

Raw,

Unfiltered,

And honest.

Say what weighs on you,

Say what thrills you,

Say the grief,

The rage,

The joy,

The confusion.

Nothing is wrong here.

Nothing is too much.

All is welcome in God's light.

Speak now,

And be held.

Now that you have spoken,

See a river of divine light begin to move through your body,

God's current of renewal.

The light moves through your root,

It grounds you in safety,

And then through your sacral,

As it soothes and balances your emotions.

Your solar plexus now,

It restores confidence and peace.

The light moves into your heart,

It fills you with compassion and love.

And into your throat,

As it clears your voice and your truth.

It moves up to your third eye,

Quieting the mind and sharpens your trust.

And then into your crown,

It opens you to divine guidance.

Let the current move,

Let it cleanse,

Close,

And refill what was emptied.

Notice how release feels in your body,

Perhaps a tingling or a warmth,

Even a physical shift.

Allow it,

Trust it.

This is the divine's light doing what only it can do.

There's nothing more for you to hold,

There's nothing more to fix.

God has heard you,

The divine has received it all.

And Source will carry it now,

Transmuting,

Transforming,

Redeeming in perfect timing.

You can rest in this knowing,

I am supported.

I am never alone.

Slowly bring awareness back to your breath,

Back to your body.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Take a deep breath in and sigh it out.

You have given it to God.

Chara, thanks for the reminder. Life has been crazy lately and not easy. Giving that difficulty to God and working to improve, have more gratitude and give more grace is something I am striving to improve on in 2026. Happy holidays to you and your family 🙏🏻
