I wanted to share my thoughts on manifestation and a little manifestation meditation.

So for a while I had quite an aversion to the idea of manifestation because to me it felt like sort of a cop-out from real quote-unquote real spirituality or real meditation where it felt more like it was about getting something physical rather than like an actual experience of peace or happiness.

As I've grown and as I've walked longer in this path I feel that this idea of manifestation and the practices of manifesting are beneficial and have a place in our daily practice.

So the thing to keep in mind though when you want to manifest something is that the real reason that you want something or that you feel like you need something is because there is something inside of you that doesn't feel complete necessarily.

And in the great teachings from the great teachers,

A lot of teachers say we're already complete,

We just don't know who we are.

And so if we know who we are,

If we find out who we are,

Then we'll realize that we don't need anything and we never needed anything all along.

And that might sound difficult to hear because maybe we think we already know who we are or we have some idea of who we are and we also don't feel complete.

Or maybe we think,

Okay,

I actually don't really need anything and I'm just manifesting for fun.

And either is good and there's not really a wrong or right,

It's just being honest with ourselves and seeing if we do really,

In fact,

Know who our true,

True self is beyond any concept,

Beyond any mental idea.

And so when we want to try to manifest something,

It should be with the intention of cultivating our highest peace and our highest good for ourselves.

Because if we just want to manifest something just to have something,

And we are really stubborn that we're not going to give up until we get that thing,

Then we might very well get that thing,

But it also might not lead us to any more peace or any more happiness.

So there's not a problem with that at all,

But if peace and happiness and fulfillment are what we're looking for,

Then our intention in manifestation and in practicing manifestation should be to have the most fulfillment and the most inner peace and inner tranquility.

So then if we know that and we're strong in the idea that we want to try to get things externally,

Maybe we want a new car or more money or a relationship or whatever it might be,

But we know that it's possible that we don't know that that's what is causing us to feel lack or causing us to feel like we're missing something.

And maybe there's something else,

Maybe we want a relationship,

But really it's a new connection with a friend or something that we would never have even expected.

And so the beauty of this and the way that I like to try to manifest things is to leave it open to the universe or open to life to decide what it means to be fulfilled,

But to embody that feeling of fulfillment now as much as we can.

So the practice is really,

Okay,

What do I want?

What do I feel like I'm lacking right now?

Is it money?

Is it a car?

Is it a relationship?

And then trying to see if we can feel fulfilled or imagine that we already have those things or let go of that part of our body that is being tight because we feel that we don't have those things so that we can start to touch on that feeling of fulfillment without actually needing the things that we think we're lacking to fulfill us.

So that's true manifestation,

In my opinion,

Is manifesting fulfillment rather than manifesting an actual object.

But in manifesting fulfillment,

Life moves around us and it brings around the circumstances and the situations that reflect that fulfillment that we feel.

And even if we don't feel fulfillment,

There's grace involved and life is taking care of us either way.

And so we can just try our best and relax and surrender to the process and see what happens.

So with all this in mind,

I'll guide you through a short meditation of manifestation.

All right,

So choose a comfortable position to sit and gently close your eyes and just take a few deep breaths.

And now gently relax your shoulders and your arms and your facial muscles.

Relax your eyelids.

Relax your back,

Your upper back and your lower back.

Relax your abdomen.

And it's okay if you don't feel that you can relax these areas.

Just briefly bring your awareness to them.

You can even move your hand to the abdomen or the shoulders and just gently as if touching a pet or petting a pet that might be afraid.

Just tell the little pet it's okay and you can pet your shoulders or your abdomen.

It's okay,

You can relax.

And now you might have things that you want to do after or things you've done before this moment and you don't need to avoid them or try to push them away,

But you can just let them be there and if you have to run an errand or something,

Just see that and let life take care of the remembering and just relax,

Relax your face.

You can pet your face if you want.

And now in this moment,

If you had everything you wanted,

If you didn't have to do anything in the future,

You had no more responsibilities,

Everything is taken care of.

You have all the financial security you could want.

You have the perfect relationship and the perfect relationships.

You are loved unconditionally.

See if you can tap into what that might feel like.

And as you tap in,

There might be some resistance,

Some thoughts saying,

No,

But you have to pay your bills or no,

But you're lonely and you're alone.

It's okay.

Let the thoughts be there,

But you don't have to buy into them anymore.

Whether they're true or not doesn't matter to your inner state anymore.

You can be fulfilled in any situation.

And just relax,

Knowing that you have everything that you could ever want.

Bring to mind something that you've been craving,

A car,

A new house,

A better relationship,

A new relationship,

A cat,

A dog,

Some more hair,

Whatever it might be.

Feel now into your body,

What is preventing you from feeling like you already have this thing,

This object?

Is there some tightness around your abdomen that's telling you,

I have to keep running.

I have to keep chasing.

I have to keep doing until this thing is manifested.

This thing,

Until I make it happen,

Do I have to keep running until I make it happen?

You can just tell yourself,

No longer do I need to run.

No longer do I need to chase after things.

I know that whatever is meant for my highest fulfillment is coming to me.

And now,

If you can,

Imagine that this object that you are desiring is here now in this present reality.

How would that feel?

How would that feel to have the perfect car or the perfect relationship?

See if you can feel the feeling of what that feels like.

And slowly,

As you begin to feel the feeling,

See if you can let go of the idea of the object.

So say you allow yourself to feel that you're with the perfect person,

The person that you always dreamed of being with.

And now that you feel that this person is with you right now as we speak,

Or this car or this cat,

What does that feel like?

Does your heart feel more open?

Is there less tension in some part of your body?

Know that you no longer need to hold this tension and see if you can feel that the feeling of fulfillment is independent of the object,

That you can feel fulfilled already in this very moment.

Now bring something else to mind,

Or something that you've wanted for a long time,

But you might have even forgotten that you wanted it,

Or you might have told yourself long ago that you're not worthy of it,

Or that it's impossible.

Maybe it's being an astronaut,

Or having a billion dollars.

See if you can do a similar process.

Imagine that you already have this billion dollars.

Allow yourself to imagine,

Knowing that thoughts will arise that tell you otherwise,

And they may even be true,

But that doesn't matter for this practice.

You can tell those silly thoughts,

It's okay.

I can feel fulfilled regardless of my circumstances.

And allow yourself to feel what it would feel like if you had that wild dream,

If that wild dream came true,

Knowing that it doesn't need to come true in order for you to feel the fulfillment of it,

But you,

Your mind acts up again and says,

But I need it to happen in reality,

Or,

But it's not true.

Let the mind say that.

Allow it to be there,

And just keep feeling what would it be like if I was that astronaut standing on Mars that I always wanted to be as a little kid,

Looking off over the orange hills at the sunset,

Knowing that you can be fulfilled in this moment,

That that experience can feel real for you right now,

And see where and what part of your bodies might be loosening up a little bit in this practice,

Feeling more whole and complete,

And allow them to be like that,

And now you can let go of the concept or the dream,

Or you can stay with it even longer,

Knowing that it doesn't have to come to fruition,

Knowing that you are already fulfilled whether or not the dream comes true,

Knowing that better dreams are even possible,

And you don't have to do a single thing to make them happen.

Life will take care of that for you.

And if there's any lingering feelings of need or desire,

Maybe it's just to rest or to take a vacation or to change jobs or whatever it might be.

Allow yourself to feel what it feels like if that was the case in this very moment,

If you were on vacation right now,

Knowing that even if it's not true,

You can still feel that way inside.

There's nothing preventing you from feeling fulfilled inside.

Be kind and gentle with yourself.

You don't need to push anything away.

If your mind is telling you that you're not allowed to imagine or believe or see that you're already fulfilled,

That's okay.

Allow your mind to be as it is,

Knowing that you have nothing to do with it,

And it's just trying to help you,

But you don't need it to tell you that you're not fulfilled anymore because you're whole and complete as you are in this very moment.

You are whole and complete as you are in this very moment.

You no longer need to chase after anything.

Life will provide for you everything you need.

You can respond to life and you can act and you can make decisions as your heart feels called to do so,

But you no longer need to feel any lack of fulfillment.

You no longer need another external object to tell you it's okay to be as you are,

That it's okay to feel the wholeness of your being as you are.

And let's rest in this state of peace for a few moments,

Knowing that even if there doesn't feel,

Even if there doesn't seem to be a sense of peace,

That's okay too.

And even if I don't feel fulfilled in this moment,

That's okay too,

But I don't need anything else outside of me to tell me that I'm fulfilled.

I already have everything I could ever want.

And let's conclude with a brief prayer.

Your prayer can be directed to anything you feel called or you resonate with,

Universe,

My higher self,

Life,

Nature,

God,

Divine mother,

Or whoever or whatever you wish to pray to.

Please allow me to manifest into my reality whatever is meant for my highest fulfillment.

If desires that I have will help me be more fulfilled,

Allow them to easily be fulfilled and easily manifest.

If desires I have will not help me be more fulfilled,

Happy,

And peaceful,

Make it impossible for those desires to come to fruition and allow that desire to fade away and be replaced by a sense of peace and inner fulfillment.

I now allow myself to feel fulfilled under any circumstance,

Knowing that I don't need anything externally to allow me to feel more complete and more whole.

I trust that whatever is needed for my highest fulfillment,

For my highest peace and happiness will be easily brought to me.

I pray for your highest peace.

I pray for your highest fulfillment.

May you be happy,

Healthy,

And totally fulfilled within yourself.
