Welcome to this guided meditation to cultivate self-love.

If you've never been taught how to truly love yourself,

It's okay.

This meditation is a step forward,

A moment to begin that practice.

Loving yourself is not something you have to earn,

It's something you already deserve.

No one taught you because maybe no one taught them.

But here,

In this space,

You can begin to give yourself the love you deserve.

Come into any grounding position that feels comfortable for you.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Allowing your belly to expand.

Hold your breath for a moment,

And then exhale out of your mouth,

Releasing not just the air,

But any tension you feel in your body.

Imagine each exhale letting out years of unspoken doubt,

Judgment,

Or self-criticism.

Picture these feelings as a soft gray mist dissipating into nothingness.

Repeat this breathing for a few cycles,

Inhaling deeply through your nose,

Holding the breath for a moment,

And exhaling out of your mouth.

With every breath,

Trust that you are gently clearing space for something new,

A loving relationship with yourself.

And on your next exhale,

Return to your normal breathing.

Bring your attention now to your heart space.

Place your hand over your heart,

If it feels comfortable,

And connect to the life force beating there.

Imagine a soft golden light growing from the very center of your chest.

This light is your inherent worth,

Your essence,

And though it may feel difficult to see,

It has always been there.

Breathe into this light,

Allowing it to grow stronger and warmer with each inhale.

With each exhale,

Release the stories or voices that made you feel you weren't worthy of love.

Those thoughts do not belong to you anymore.

Trust in this glow,

Even if it feels unfamiliar.

It is your core,

Patiently waiting for you,

And now,

As you continue to breathe slowly and deeply,

I want you to repeat the following affirmations to yourself.

Speak to the part of you that is needed to hear these words.

If you feel resistance,

That's okay.

Breathe into it,

And trust that these truths are for you.

I am learning to love myself,

And that is enough.

I deserve kindness from myself and others.

My worth has never depended on perfection.

I forgive myself for believing I am not enough.

I release the need to compare myself to others.

I honor my growth in all its forms.

I choose to treat myself with gentleness.

I am allowed to take up space as I am.

I trust in the process of learning self-love.

I am worthy of unconditional love,

Starting with my own.

If doubts or difficult emotions arise,

Acknowledge them kindly,

As you would a passing stranger.

They do not define you,

They simply reflect old patterns you are moving beyond.

Picture yourself stepping into a serene and comfortable natural setting.

This could be a forest,

A meadow bathed in golden sunlight,

Or a tranquil beach where the waves gently kiss the shore.

With each step you take,

Imagine leaving behind the weight of old doubts,

Fears,

And unkindness you've carried for too long.

See these burdens dissolve into the air,

Disappearing as if they never were yours to hold.

Feel the earth beneath your feet supporting you,

Grounding you in the knowledge that you are worthy of love,

Exactly as you are.

And now,

Visualize the golden light from your chest radiating outward,

Illuminating your path ahead.

With every step forward,

Remind yourself that this light represents the love you are discovering within.

It is limitless and patient,

Always present even when it feels hidden.

Imagine this light guiding you toward a growing sense of self-compassion and acceptance.

Notice how each step feels lighter,

As though you are walking directly into the person you are becoming,

A person who sees their own worth and embraces it fully.

Allow this moment to be a celebration of learning to love yourself.

Picture the light in your chest,

Joining with the beauty around you,

As if nature itself is affirming your worth.

Trust in this unfolding process and in your courage to take these steps.

You are not just imagining self-love,

You are creating and welcoming it into every part of your being.

Take a deep breath in,

Feeling deeply connected to this newfound sense of love and belonging.

As you exhale,

Know that it will continue to grow,

One step at a time.

And when you feel ready,

Slowly return to the present moment,

Feel the ground beneath you and take a deep grounding breath.

Open your eyes when you feel prepared and take a moment to thank yourself for this act of courage and care.

Carry this growing light with you,

Even in small steps.

Learning to love yourself is a process,

Which you've already started,

And that is enough.

Remember always,

You are and have always been worthy of love.

Thank you for meditating with me today.

Namaste.
