No matter where you may be,
Take a moment to plant your feet firmly onto the ground.
Allow your eyes to gently close and tilt your head towards the sky.
If you are able to,
You may also hold your hands up in a V position,
Mimicking the trees all around you.
Take a deep breath in from your nose,
Hold it,
And exhale from your mouth.
As you take your next breath,
Envision inhaling in peace and exhaling any negative thoughts you may have been experiencing.
As your feet continue to be firmly planted to the ground,
Imagine roots forming beneath your feet,
Keeping you protected,
Grounded,
And present.
If you notice any thoughts distracting you from becoming present,
Simply envision those thoughts becoming part of the roots beneath you.
Notice all the sensations around you with complete objectivity.
Notice the sounds you may hear.
Feel the ground beneath your feet.
Notice the taste in your mouth.
Experience any smells.
Now gently open your eyes and allow yourself to see at this moment.
You are here,
You are breathing,
You are present.
Now repeat after me,
I am now ready to be back in the present reality and experience life with joy,
Peace,
And love.
