Find a quiet place where you can relax without interruption.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose and gently exhale through your mouth.
With each breath,
Feel yourself arriving more fully into this moment.
Let the outside world fade for now.
This time is your sacred time and just for you to come home to your own energy.
Feel the surface beneath you,
Solid,
Steady and supportive.
Let your body fully relax.
Breathe in calm and breathe out anything heavy or borrowed.
You are safe to rest and you are safe to release.
When you're ready,
I want you to imagine a warm light at the base of your spine,
Gentle and golden.
With each inhale,
This light grows stronger,
Connecting you to the Earth's core.
Like roots from a tree,
Your energy anchors deep into the soil.
It's strong,
Nourished and protected.
Feel that grounding energy flow upward through your legs,
Your hips,
Your belly,
Stabilizing and supporting you.
And with each exhale,
Let go of all energy that isn't yours.
You might imagine it flowing out through your roots,
Melting into the Earth where it is safely transformed.
Say silently to yourself,
I release what is not mine and I honor what is mine to keep.

Now bring awareness to your heart.
Empaths often carry the emotions of others here.
It could be joy,
Pain,
Confusion,
Compassion.
Whatever it may be,
Visualize your heart as a gentle sphere of light.
Feel the soft,
Luminous energy.
And with each breath,
This sphere expands slightly,
Clearing away any emotions that do not belong to you.
See them dissolve into light,
Grateful for the lesson and now free to return to the Universe.
Repeat to yourself,
I allow others to walk their path.
I choose to carry only love and understanding.
Now imagine a shimmering cocoon of light forming around your entire body.
It can be any color you choose,
Golden,
Lavender,
Silver,
White.
Whatever you choose,
Envision a radiant boundary that allows love and light in,
That gently reflects anything that drains or overwhelms you.
You are safe,
You are whole,
You are sovereign in your energy.
Feel this light seal your aura,
Balancing sensitivity with strength.
And repeat to yourself,
I am open to love but protected from harm.
I give and receive energy in balance.
Bring your awareness back to your breath and notice how much lighter your body feels.
You're still sensitive,
Beautifully so,
But now your sensitivity is anchored in strength and not depletion.
Rest here for a few more breaths,
Feeling the steady rhythm of your heart.
The peace of being fully in your own energy field.
And silently repeat to yourself,
My empathy is a gift.
I honor my energy.
I am grounded,
Protected and free.
When you're ready,
Begin to deepen your breathing.
Wiggle your fingers and toes and feel the ground beneath you once more or the bed beneath you.
And as you open your eyes,
Know that your light moves with you.
Gentle,
Steady and radiant.
A calm presence in a busy world as your anchor.
And know that you are now free of others energy and can fully radiate in your own energetic field now.
