Hello everyone and welcome.
If you're ready close your eyes and get yourself in a comfortable position.
Begin to follow your breath in and out,
In and out.
Today's meditation is designed to help you accept and connect with a loved one that is passing or has passed.
And so whenever you're ready just centering yourself and just taking a moment to acknowledge where you're at,
The difficulty,
The change and it's normal.
It's normal to be sad,
To struggle with this,
But you have the power to connect to them,
To let them know that you are here,
That you still feel them or wish to connect with them even more now that they are in spirit.
And so beginning to think about them,
Think about their energy,
Maybe bringing up some moments,
Some memories that fill your heart with joy and from your heart creating an energetic chord that moves out and connects to them,
To their spirit.
And once you see and feel this connection,
Beginning to notice and listen and just continue to follow your breath in and out,
Letting go of expectations,
Of attachments and just acceptance with your in-breath.
I accept this,
I trust this is part of life,
This is part of this journey and one day I will see them again.
So I want you to understand that this is not a loss,
It's just change.
And knowing that they are here with you now,
That they are watching over you and what would they wish for you in this moment,
Ask them.
Maybe you feel waves of love and support and comfort.
And so now it's your time to speak to them.
If you like you can say it out loud or in your mind,
It does not matter.
And so in this moment,
What would you like to say to them?
Is there anything else that you haven't told them that you wish you did?
And as you speak to them,
Continue to breathe deep breaths and on the out-breath,
Just let it go.
If you get emotional,
Let yourself go there,
It's okay.
And now I want you to begin to relax into this moment,
Accepting what is as humans,
We create suffering when we resist something.
We resist to accept the situation,
The change,
The circumstance.
And so taking deeper breaths in with the support of your loved one,
Knowing that they are by your side.
And so breathing in this beautiful,
Peaceful,
Divine light into your heart,
Their essence as well,
Their love,
Their energy.
And so filling your heart with this light,
Very gentle,
Very soft,
Very kind,
Very loving.
And so deep breath in,
Filling your lungs and your belly.
All the way until you can't take any more air in and then let it go.
And as you breathe in,
Breathe in a moment,
A warmer memory.
Remembering them in this light,
In this moment.
And filling your heart up with joy,
Filling your heart up with their light.
And letting go of the sadness now,
Letting go of the attachment.
This too will become a memory.
This too will pass.
Acceptance,
Allowing and celebrating them,
Celebrating their life,
Their passing,
Celebrating their experience with you,
The moments that you have had together in this life.
Really taking this moment to honor and cherish them in this light.
And maybe allowing them to show you moments of their life where you were not there,
Where they were full of life and joy,
Where they were celebrating their own experience,
Where they had wonderful experiences,
Maybe a time when they fell in love,
Where they experienced success,
Whatever it may be.
And if you feel like you're making this up,
Let it be that.
Let them show you what they want to show you.
See the adventures of their life,
The moments in time in their past.
And now asking them,
How would you like me to honor you,
To remember you?
And just listen to what they have to say,
To what they have to show you.
Trusting your inner vision,
Trusting your heart.
You know what made them proud,
What brought light to them.
And now it's time for you to ask something of them.
Maybe you need a sign,
A message.
You can do that.
If there is something very specific that means something to you,
Tell them.
Show me the sign to let me know that you are okay.
Show me the sign to support me along my journey now as I continue in this world.
So I want you to see that image,
Whatever that sign is.
And if you're not quite sure,
Make it up or allow it to come to you.
And then you send that sign to them through that energy connection so they know what it is.
The more specific,
The better.
And now,
Let it go and be open to that sign coming to you.
Don't look for it,
Just trust that it will show up at the perfect time.
And so beginning to breathe again in your heart,
Letting go of the sadness,
The pain,
And just embracing this situation fully.
As best as you can.
Knowing that they will communicate with you,
That they are with you now in spirit form.
And this is a beautiful thing,
A hard thing for us humans,
But they are at peace.
They are back with their loved ones and they are resting in the light,
In love.
And so allowing them to send you one final message to your heart,
Feeling that energy,
Feeling that warmth,
Filling you up,
Comforting you.
And knowing that now throughout your day or whenever you need,
You can connect to them at any time.
They are always with you now.
And so with this,
Just taking a moment of gratitude for the life you've had together.
And from here now,
Beginning to slowly and gently begin the journey back.
Expanding your awareness back out,
Feeling your toes,
Your knees,
Parts of your body,
Just to bring awareness back.
Your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your head,
Just scanning and noticing.
And now expanding that awareness back out into the space,
Being aware of where you are at in this time and space,
In a room or outside,
Wherever you're listening to this meditation.
And continue to deepen your breath now as you gently wake yourself back up.
If you like,
Now it's time to wiggle your toes and your fingers.
And maybe give yourself a nice stretch,
Letting go even more.
And when it feels right,
Open your eyes.
