Hello everyone and welcome to the meditation channel.
Let's begin.
Close your eyes and get yourself in a comfortable position.
Just taking a moment to acknowledge yourself for showing up today,
For taking this meditation and for giving yourself the opportunity today to love yourself just a little more.
And so today's meditation is designed to help you accept and love yourself,
Love your body,
Maybe your age or anything that you might be struggling with at this time.
Society puts a lot of pressure on us to be a certain way,
To look a certain way,
To conform and sometimes it can just be too much.
Sometimes we believe it and we think there is something wrong with us.
And so it's important to love yourself,
To accept yourself as you are and if there are changes that you wish to make that is also doable but don't do it with hate,
Do it with love.
And so let's begin.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Getting yourself in a relaxed state.
And with each breath I invite you to release and let go anything that you may be holding on to at this time.
Let go of expectations,
Let go of judgment and just being present with yourself,
Just becoming the observer today.
And so let's begin by looking at the pressure that you're feeling from the outside world.
What do you think or feel that society and people expect of you?
What do you think or feel that society and people think is wrong with you?
And notice how this makes you feel.
If you really pay attention you will notice that it makes you feel helpless and powerless.
And that is not a good place to be.
And so today I invite you to take your power back.
I invite you to reclaim yourself and to release the expectations of the world.
What if the only expectation that you valued was yours?
What if you could let it all go?
That feel.
And just notice maybe how your body reacts to that thought.
And so ask yourself why do I give others and society more value and importance than my own?
Than my own opinion,
My own thoughts and my own ways of valuing myself.
And so as you do this become aware of the fact that you allow the outside to influence the inside.
Allowing others who you've never met,
Who you don't know,
To dictate how you should feel.
Life happens from you,
Not the other way around.
And so imagine if you could reverse this.
Imagine if how you felt and thought impacted the outside world.
If you really think about it,
There are many who have done this.
Many who did not conform.
Many who accepted and loved themselves for how they are.
And suddenly they were loved and accepted because of it.
And so what will it take for you to begin to value your thoughts and your feelings?
What will it take for you to begin to pay attention to yourself from the inside out?
And so as you continue to breathe in and breathe out,
I want you to go inside into your heart.
You know what it feels like to be free.
You know what it feels like to love yourself.
As children,
That is our natural state.
And so remind your heart of that feeling.
Remind your body of that.
Remember when you never judged yourself or thought there was something wrong with you.
Remember when you could smile at your imperfections and still love them.
And so with that energy now,
I want you to find the very thing that you're struggling with.
And I want you to project that energy towards it.
And as you do this,
I want you to repeat after me.
I accept all of you and I leave nothing behind.
I accept all of you and I leave nothing behind.
I accept all of you and I leave nothing behind.
Now,
If there was some resistance,
That's perfectly normal.
That's perfectly fine.
This will take practice.
But you took the first step today.
You changed your relationship with yourself.
You changed the way you communicate and thought of yourself.
That is the key.
As long as you keep doing the same thing over and over,
Thinking the same way over and over,
Nothing will change.
It is up to you to change the relationship with this.
And when you do this,
I promise everything will change.
And so as you are here today,
I want you to begin to honor this and honor yourself by claiming,
Promising something to yourself.
What are the thoughts that you keep telling yourself over and over again that put you down?
And I want you today to promise to yourself that you will no longer say those things.
And in their place,
You are going to say something else,
Something positive,
Something kinder.
Now,
I know you've been doing this for a long time,
But trust me.
So,
What is that positive thing that you would love to hear?
It doesn't have to be crazy positive,
But it has to be better.
Essentially,
You want to build the momentum until one day you can say something loving to yourself.
So,
For instance,
If you always told yourself that you are ugly,
Today you are going to begin to tell yourself,
Beauty is what I want it to be.
And in my eyes,
I am enough.
So,
Take a moment now to reflect upon something and trust your intuition.
And if you don't find the words today,
You will,
As long as you focus towards it.
Today,
I invite you to stand up for yourself.
Today,
I invite you to be your own best friend.
If it helps,
Imagine little you,
The younger version of yourself,
And what would you tell them to make them feel loved,
Seen,
And valued?
And reminding yourself also that every time you put yourself down,
You also put them down.
Next,
I want you to place your hands above your heart and take a deep breath in.
Connecting to your heart,
Connecting to your spirit,
Connecting to yourself.
And above all,
Connecting to this beautiful vessel,
This body that has been carrying you throughout this life.
And I want you to take a moment to say thank you.
Thank you for being with me.
Thank you for caring me.
Thank you for fighting for me,
For trying.
I am so grateful for every part of you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
And as you do this,
Notice how your body reacts to this energy,
To the gratitude.
And so just taking a moment now just to be with you,
Anything that you've learned,
Anything that you became aware of.
I encourage you to come back to this meditation time and time again,
As this is something that will require repetition and practice.
But I promise you,
Consistency is key.
All right,
It's time to come back now.
So slowly beginning to expand your awareness outwards.
If you like,
You can gently begin to wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Taking a few deep breaths now to wake up the body and maybe give yourself a little stretch.
And when it feels right,
Come back and open your eyes.
