Good afternoon.
Welcome to the afternoon reset guided meditation.
Please find a comfortable seat and let your eyes close.
It's a great moment to reconnect in the middle of the day when the anxieties and pressures and demands of life have started in on their momentum.
It's good to take a moment and reconnect to our deeper selves,
Not get caught in running out the day waiting for the clock to turn and having some time somewhere else be the moment that you're waiting for.
So now you're here with your eyes closed in your seat.
Just allow yourself to gently draw your attention inward.
Feel your breath moving through your body.
Feel your seat solid underneath you.
Open up your breath.
Let it take up a bit more space inside of you and let the energy of your head slowly start to descend.
We're taking this moment to re-inhabit the whole of your being.
For most of us during the workday,
A lot of our attention,
If not all of it,
Is up in the brain,
Either at the computer screen or in conversation.
So for just a few moments here,
We're going to redistribute that energy into our whole being.
One easy way to do this is just to start to breathe and imagine the energy coming down into your limbs,
Into your torso,
Into your legs,
And even all the way down to your feet.
It might feel a bit off-putting,
But just allow it as much as you're willing to come in and down and breathe.
Trust that you will be restored by these few minutes of turning inward and of letting go into the whole of your being.
That's very good.
A few more breaths of just allowing the energy within you to redistribute evenly through your whole body.
You can use your breath and imagine it spreading out through your body in a way that feels balanced and even.
Keep breathing.
When you feel whole,
Allow your attention just to come in even a bit deeper,
Straight into your heart.
Feel now the power of your heart.
Breathe here.
Breathe energy from your unlimited,
Boundless heart in and through your whole being.
Notice how much more strength when we allow our deeper presence to inhabit the whole of our being.
We surrender a bit of control to our authentic power and to the love within.
Keep breathing and opening your heart and energizing your body from the power in your own,
Nourishing whatever you need for the rest of your day or for the next hour even.
Breathe into your heart and send that medicine through your body.
Breathe into your heart and allow the essence of whatever you need for the next part of your day.
Fill up your being.
Let your breath feel good and sweet and easy.
Let your heart feel strong and open and wise.
You can stay here breathing and energizing as long as you'd like,
Or you can begin to deepen your breath,
Bring yourself back into this moment,
And open your eyes,
Staying connected to the heart energy of your whole being within.
