Use this meditation when you feel frightened or anxious. To begin with you may only be able to concentrate on being aware of the air coming in through your nostrils and down the back of your throat. As you follow the guidance, you will feel your body begin to relax with each breath you take. As you become comfortable with your shallow breaths, you will be guided to focus on being aware of your in-breath going down to the tops of your lungs. Eventually your heart will settle down and you'll be able to breathe all the way down into your abdomen and feel the energy of your breath permeate through your entire body helping your feel calm and safe.
