This meditation came to me while in Costa Rica. I was staying at a Yoga teacher school, spending my days painting rocks. One night while I was out, it started to rain and all of these white flowers began to fall all around me. That was when the meditation came through. However, I did not record it until years later. I hope you enjoy it.

Imagine yourself packing.

You're going on a trip.

You may be feeling a little nervous.

The natural stress of flying,

Leaving your home,

All of your responsibilities and the things that you need to do are on your mind.

But this trip is important.

You're going on a trip to find yourself.

Pack up your bag and head to the airport.

Breathe a sigh of relief as the plane takes off.

You're on your way.

You relax into your seat and dream away during the flight.

Upon getting to your destination,

You realize it's raining.

You make your way to your hotel.

You are all alone.

It's dark outside.

And as you walk down the path to your accommodations,

You realize and feel the cold,

Wet rain is landing on your skin.

You look down to your arms and you see a small white flower.

Look around.

Notice there are a lot of small white flowers.

You're surrounded by them.

It's raining flowers.

Spin around.

Slowly look up at the sky,

The dark black blue green sky and see the white flowers coming down in the rain.

Bend down.

Pick up a flower.

Hold it in your hand.

Realize that it's turned into candy in your hand.

Pop it into your mouth and taste the candy.

Smile.

It tastes good.

It makes you feel like you're on your way.

This trip will be worth it.

Everything you left behind will not matter because by the end of this trip,

You'll know you'll find what you're looking for.

You continue on your walk,

Making sure to take some white flower candy in your pocket.

You see your room and you twist the metal knob on the wooden door and you walk into the empty room.

All you see in the room is a mirror.

You run your hands through your hair,

Across your face,

Wiping off the wet rain sprinkles.

White flowers fall off of you into the room.

You set down your bag,

Roll your shoulders,

And walk up to the mirror.

Look into the mirror.

This is not a normal mirror.

In the mirror,

You see a child.

The child smiles at you,

Turns and walks away.

But before the child disappears from view,

They look back at you and they blow you a kiss.

You see the kiss floating towards you.

It comes out of the mirror and you grab it.

You can hold it in your hand.

You hold onto it tightly,

Close your hand around it,

And look back into the mirror.

When you look back into the mirror,

You now see your own reflection.

You look down at your hand.

You open it up just to make sure that the kiss is still there.

It is.

It's turned into a piece of paper.

You open it up and you see that there's a note inside.

Read the note.

The child has written you what you were looking for.

You smile.

You take out your phone and you type what you read in the note in an email to yourself.

You click send.

You hear the whoosh.

You feel relief.

You turn around,

Pick up your bag,

And as you open the door,

You look back over your shoulder at the mirror.

And at that moment,

You know in your heart you can always come back here.

This was a lovely, brief break in the middle of my work day. Having been to Costa Rica several times and currently being unable to travel, I found this active and mindful meditation refreshing! I particularly enjoyed the melange of water sounds layered over the faint bird songs. Recommend!

This was PERFECT timing for me tonight, as I am preparing to launch my own voyage of self-discovery, RVing my way across the nation for the next several months. Life happens FOR me, and I was led to this as clearly as I've ever been led anywhere. I needed this tonight, and I thank you. Namaste.

I have a very visual mind and completely saw this vision. I got tears when I saw the little girl at first but through the visualization in a second I felt love joy and comfort. Thank you!
