Find a nice comfortable seated position.
Take your time.
Create the environment that you need for your meditation.
Maybe light up an incense or use some essential oils.
Using whatever tools you would like to create an inviting and peaceful environment.
You can prop your hips with a yoga block,
A pillow or a bolster.
You can be cross-legged with your legs extended or on your knees.
Whatever comfortable position feels right for your body today.
Find a nice straight spine.
You can lean against a wall or find support.
And as you get yourself into a comfortable seat,
Slowly begin to close your eyes.
And as you close your eyes,
Begin to bring your awareness inwards.
Slowly shutting down the senses from the world around you and taking a look within.
You can rest your palms on your knees facing up in a receiving position or facing down in a more restorative position.
Gently roll your shoulders out a few times forward and back.
Maybe gently rock your head from side to side.
Bring one ear to one shoulder,
Other ear to the other shoulder.
Releasing any residual tension you might be carrying in this area.
Allow yourself to be comfortable in your body today.
As you get yourself nice and comfortably,
Start your shoulders over your hips.
Center your head over your shoulders.
Gently squeeze your shoulders together to open up your chest.
Slowly begin to relax.
Take a deep,
Full breath in and a complete exhale out.
A few more times like so.
Deep inhale in and exhale it all out.
Let your breath be your primary focus here.
Inhaling deeply,
Exhaling fully.
With each inhale feeling your chest rise.
With each exhale feeling it fall.
Inhale into your nose.
Exhale into your nose or your mouth,
Whatever feels best.
A few more times in a rhythm,
Matching the length of your inhales with the length of your exhales.
If you can hear yourself breathing even better.
Just like the sounds of the waves,
The sounds of the ocean crashing against the shore.
Find your rhythm of breath.
Slowly begin to visualize with each deep inhale.
Fresh new energy coming into your body.
With each exhale,
Releasing and letting go of anything that no longer serves you.
A few more times like so.
With each inhale,
Golden specks of light,
Pure energy coming in.
With each exhale,
Releasing stress,
Worry,
Tension,
Anything that you no longer need.
When becoming more specific with your visualization,
With each inhale invite exactly what you need in life today.
And with each exhale release exactly that which you want to release and let go of.
With each inhale inviting strength,
Knowledge,
Understanding,
Love,
Care,
Compassion,
Ambition,
Fulfillment,
Success,
Wisdom,
Simply invite it in.
With each exhale release that which you want to let go of.
Fear,
Anger,
Grief,
Resentment,
Worry,
Stress,
Weight off your shoulders.
Just let it go,
Let it melt.
Continue to breathe deeply and evenly.
Inhaling the goodness in and exhaling.
Letting go of the weight.
This is your time.
This is your practice.
The more specific you are,
The easier it will be for the universe to provide you with exactly what you need.
Deep healing breath in and a full complete exhale out.
Begin to visualize all that is beautiful,
That is good.
Coming in,
Into your body,
Into your mind,
Your heart,
Your life.
And with each exhale feeling everything that no longer serves your highest purpose.
Leaving your body,
Your mind,
Your heart,
Your life and visualize it transforming into the fire,
Cleansing and changing into pure light.
Deep inhale in,
Full exhale out.
One final time,
Your deepest breath yet.
Filling up your cup and with each exhale becoming lighter and lighter as you let go.
And here gently return to your normal breath.
Inhaling to your nose and exhaling to your nose.
Feeling energized,
Rejuvenated,
Transformed,
Distressed.
Knowing that you and only you create your reality.
And every single day you have the right,
The privilege to consciously invite exactly what you need into your life.
Mindfully and with care and understanding for the world around you.
And each and every day you have the right and the privilege to let go of anything that no longer serves your highest purpose.
You do not have to carry that weight around you.
This is your sacred time,
Your sacred space and take a moment to simply sit in stillness,
In silence with yourself.
Whenever you feel ready,
Gently slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your body.
Gently wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Moving in an organic way that feels right for you.
You can gently blink your eyes to open and then close,
Connecting with the world around you.
And whenever you feel ready,
Simply coming back.
You can gently blink your eyes to open and then close,
Connecting with the world around you.
