Welcome,
My name is Mary Kay,
And I so appreciate you joining me in prayer today,
As I pray for all of us that are suffering with anxiety.
So let's begin.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for today.
I thank you for my many,
Many blessings.
I come to you with a heart full of love and concern for my friends,
My family,
And our world as we are suffering and there is so much anxiety.
Lord,
I pray that you surround them with your love,
Your healing light,
Calm their hearts and mind with your peace.
Lord,
I know that you are the ultimate healer,
The ultimate provider,
And I pray that you strengthen each and everyone listening right now,
That you restore them,
Bringing them healing,
Protecting them from anxiety,
From stress,
And anything that could steal their peace.
Help them feel secure,
Reminding them that they can cast all their cares on you.
As Psalm 9419 says,
When anxiety was great within me,
Your consolation brought me joy.
And Isaiah 4110 says,
Fear not,
For I am with you.
Be not dismayed,
For I am your God.
I will strengthen you.
I will help you.
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
When I'm feeling anxious and my heart feels sadness for our suffering,
I start singing with gratitude Psalm 23.
As Grandma Rose always said,
Write scripture on your heart for when you need it.
So when I sing Psalm 23,
My anxiety and sadness starts to melt away.
So I sing it again and again,
So my heart believes it.
And I need it right now.
So I sing.
The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
He leads me by still waters,
Till my fears are gone.
Though I walk through a valley of a shadow right now,
I know you are with me.
My father,
My friend,
Your goodness and mercy is all I ask of you right now.
To the Lord.
As John 14,
27 says,
Peace I leave with you,
My peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives,
But as I give to you.
Let not your hearts be troubled,
Neither let them be afraid.
So thank you,
Jesus,
For hearing my prayers and my praises,
And walking with everyone who hears this prayer.
Thank you,
Lord,
For wrapping us up in your love,
Your light,
And filling us with the peace that surpasses all understanding.
You are my strength,
And your grace and mercy lifts me up,
And your word has been true in every season of my life.
So,
Lord,
Thank you for wrapping each and every one of these beautiful people listening today with your love,
Your light,
And your peace.
May all your love and blessings be with them each and every day.
Thank you,
Lord,
We love you,
Amen.
