Welcome to this sacred pause in celebration of the spring equinox.
A moment when day and night are perfectly balanced,
Reminding us of the harmony we can cultivate within ourselves.
The spring equinox marks a turning point in nature and in spirit.
As the earth tilts towards the sun,
We step into a season of renewal,
Rebirth,
And awakening.
Seeds planted in the dark begin to push through the soil towards the light.
So let this meditation honor that transition,
From stillness to action,
From inward reflection to outward growth.
If you haven't yet,
Gently close your eyes,
And if it feels comfortable,
Allow your body to sway ever so slightly,
Side to side,
Like a young sapling in a soft breeze.
Let your breath follow this rhythm,
In through your nose,
Out through your mouth,
Swaying with ease,
Rooted,
Reawakening.
Now,
Imagine yourself standing in a sunlit meadow,
Soft green shoots rising from the earth beneath your feet.
You feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,
And the gentle pull of new energy rising within you.
Ask yourself,
What part of me is ready to bloom?
What intention wants to grow now that light is returning?
Breathe into the answers,
There's no rush.
Just let them rise,
Like petals opening in spring.
With your hand resting on your heart or belly,
Silently repeat to yourself,
I welcome balance,
Growth,
And new beginnings.
Feel that truth take root within you.
Take one more deep breath in,
Feeling the energy of the earth waking up beneath you,
And exhale fully,
Releasing any remnants of winter that are ready to be shed.
As you open your eyes,
Carry this balance of this moment into your day.
Just like the earth,
You are ready to begin again.
