In this 2-minute guided meditation, you’ll let go of the pressure to be somewhere you’re not and return to the present moment. You’ll meet yourself with compassion, forgive the self-criticism, and take your next step from a place of peace. Today is not about how fast you go — it’s about honoring the journey.

Welcome to today's practice.

Let's begin by closing your eyes or gazing down,

Softening in your face,

Dropping your shoulders,

Allowing yourself to feel a sense of groundedness,

Breathing in peace,

Breathing out stress,

Truly being here now.

And on your next in-breath,

I invite you to bring your hand to your heart space and repeat to yourself,

I promise to meet myself where I am,

Not where I want to be.

Allow this commitment to sink in and simply notice where you might be judging yourself,

Thinking you should be further along,

Things should be different.

And just notice where you may be judging and motivating yourself to change from a place of fear and forgive yourself for that.

And now choose again,

How might you now be proud of meeting yourself where you are?

No judgment required.

And what might be your first baby step today to get closer to where you want to be?

Allow this wisdom to come forward and make a commitment to yourself today.

One step at a time,

Without judgment of pace,

Let's close this practice with a deep breath in and out and remember,

You can meet yourself where you are,

Not where you want to be.

You've got this.
