This breathing meditation track will bring balance to your nervous system and overall energy. This comes from the yogic practice of nadi shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing. The left nostril represents the energy of the moon and the right nostril the energy of the sun. In this track the inhale is through the left nostril and the exhale through the right. For one sided nostril breaths I have these tracks for free on my portfolio.

Hi my name is Martine and today we're going to do alternate nostril breathing.

This breath will balance our moon and sun energies and support our nervous system.

Each inhale will be through the left nostril and each exhale through the right nostril.

So we're going to block off the right nostril with our thumb and inhale through the left nostril.

Now block off your left nostril with your index finger and breathe out through the right nostril and then repeat the pattern.

Blocking off the right,

Inhaling through the left,

Blocking off the left with our index finger and exhaling through the right.

Breathing gently and slowly with deep awareness,

Noticing how the air enters your body,

Exits your body and coming to the last round.

Taking a deep breath in through both nostrils and out through the mouth.

Sit with your energies and notice how your breathing and your body feels right now.
