Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim,

In the name of the one most compassionate,

Most merciful,

Most kind.

This is Mark Silver with Heart of Business,

The alumni community,

And welcome to our Remembrance Call for the week,

Where we come together as a group so our hearts can support one another in remembering oneness,

Remembering unity,

Remembering the source of love.

I want to invite you to take a nice gentle breath,

And by gentle breath I mean just inhaling as much as you need,

And then stopping,

And then letting your body let the air out.

Just being really gentle and nourishing with how you are with yourself.

And then bringing your attention to your heart,

Calling through the open door of your heart to the wellspring of love,

To the source of love,

To the divine,

To the beloved,

The friend.

So I'm just noticing what you notice in your heart as you remember,

As you call,

And remembering that this is not a technique,

It's a relationship.

Letting whatever you're feeling be fuel for the calling out.

You can call out in happiness,

You can call out in somberness,

You can call out in despair or sadness or grief or joy or quietness or exuberance.

Whatever your state,

Whatever is true for you,

Let that be your calling out to the divine.

I am here and this is how I am.

Help me to witness more.

Help me to witness the larger reality.

So so so so hmm And I'd like to invite us in this place of remembrance,

I'd like to invite you to ask in your heart to ask the divine to make aware to you,

To allow you to witness signs of divine caring.

Might be divine caring for you,

Might be divine caring for the world.

Just asking to be made aware of,

To see.

You might actually want to open your eyes if you've had them closed in this internal remembrance and look around the space that you're in,

Seen through the eyes of love and caring,

To ask to be shown signs of divine caring.

So the signs of divine caring,

Asking to be shown,

Asking,

Willing to be surprised.

Just taking a look around your space and asking to be shown signs that the divine cares and is caring for all that's around you.

So I'm just allowing yourself to experience the caring that is present,

Letting your heart soak that in.

So weighs hh hh hh hh hh hh hh hh hh hh hh What do you notice in your heart as you notice the signs of divine caring around you?

Hh hh hh In the Sufi tradition in Islam,

There's a quote from the Quran that says that the Divine sees a black ant on a black rock in the middle of the night and knows its needs and cares for it.

The message that the universal source that everything comes from,

Everything returns to and from which we are not separate cares and provides for everything.

Nothing is missed.

What if this were true?

Just remembering,

Asking in your heart,

What if this were true?

What if you could relax into that sense of divine caring?

Everything you are already completely cared for in every way,

Despite whatever experience you may be having.

Hh hh hh Now taking a nice gentle breath,

Noticing any authentic gratitude or appreciation that you feel in your heart and letting yourself express that.

And then if you wish to continue remembrance,

Feel free to stay on the line.

Otherwise,

Allow yourself to carry this remembrance into your day.

And I wish you a day and a week full of noticing the divine caring that's all around us.

Peace.
