Welcome to our meditation space.
Today I invite you to join me in a meditation to help you find your way back to yourself when you feel broken inside,
When you suddenly feel overwhelmed by something greater than yourself.
When you feel you can no longer keep going.
In those moments when everything seems lost.
There's always strength within you.
Ready to support you and help you rise again.
So,
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable position.
You may close your eyes if that feel safe or gently soften your gaze.
There's nothing you need to do right now.
You don't have to solve your problems.
You don't have to find answers.
You don't have to prove how strong you are.
For the next few minutes,
You can simply be here.
Gently bring your attention to your breath.
Don't try to change it.
Simply allow it to come and go.
Just as it is.
And if even breathing feels difficult today,
There is nothing wrong with you.
Maybe you are going through something that has hurt you deeply.
Maybe you have held back too many tears,
Too many words,
Too many emotions.
Maybe you have been strong for so long that you have forgotten what it feels like to have someone take care of you.
And now.
You feel tired.
Fragile.
Maybe.
Even broken.
But listen to these words without forcing yourself to believe them just yet.
There's nothing wrong with you because you are suffering.
You don't have to heal quickly.
Now,
If you wish,
Imagine yourself standing before a vast ocean.
The sky is dark.
The wind is blowing.
The waves rise and crash with a tremendous force.
This ocean represents everything you are going through.
The fears you cannot put into words.
The disappointments that still hurt.
The absences.
It allows this.
The words you longed to hear but never came.
Maybe you feel as though you are right there in the middle of those waves.
You try to swim.
You try to hold on.
You try to keep your head above the water.
And the harder you struggle.
The more exhausted you become.
For a moment,
You don't have to do anything.
You don't have to conquer the ocean.
Simply imagine that beneath you.
There is something capable of holding you up.
The water doesn't ask you to be different.
It doesn't ask you to stop being afraid.
It supports you one moment at a time.
And you can allow yourself to stop fighting every single wave.
You can let one pass.
Than another.
And another.
You don't have to face them all at once.
You only have to get through this moment.
One breath at a time.
Now imagine that the ocean is slowly beginning to cool.
The wind grows softer.
The waves become gentler.
And beneath your body a soft,
Warm,
Reassuring light begins to appear.
This light takes the shape of a small boat.
Or perhaps a safe place of your own imagination,
Whatever feels right to you.
It doesn't matter what shape it takes.
What matters is that you can feel yourself being held and supported.
Allow yourself to be carried towards a sheltered little bay,
Where the water is calm and the sound of the waves grows more and more distant.
Here,
You don't have to swim.
You don't have to prove anything.
At last,
You can rest.
Feel the ground beneath you.
The air against your face.
The presence of your body here in this very moment.
And imagine a gentle voice speaking to you.
You can stop now.
You are allowed to be tired.
You don't have to know how to move forward,
At least not today.
You don't have to have everything and then control to deserve peace.
You don't have to be perfect to deserve love.
And you don't have to hide your wounds to be worthy of being loved.
Allow these words to reach you,
Without forcing anything.
Now,
Imagine looking within yourself.
Maybe you see it higher at the heart.
Maybe a crooked beth.
Maybe a part of you that seems to have shattered into a thousand pieces.
You don't have to fix it.
You don't have to gather all the pieces back together right away.
Approach that part of yourself with the same tenderness you would offer someone you love who is going through pain.
And try saying these words of that part of you.
I see you.
I know you have suffered.
I'm sorry you have had to carry so much.
I won't ask you to heal quickly.
I won't abandon you because you are fragile.
Now,
Imagine a soft,
Gentle light beginning to shine through those tiny cracks.
It is not a lie that raises what has happened.
It doesn't make the things that hurt you right.
It doesn't magically make the pain disappear.
It's a light that reminds you that your suffering is part of your story,
But it's not your whole story.
You can be wounded and still deserve beautiful things.
You can feel fragile and still have worth.
You can feel as though you no longer recognize yourself and slowly find your way back.
And you can begin again without having to become exactly the person you were before.
Maybe something new will grow from this experience.
Maybe for now.
You simply need to rest Both are perfectly okay.
Now imagine yourself sitting on the sand of that little bay.
Before you.
The ocean stretches all the way to the horizon.
You don't know how long it will take for things to become easier.
You don't have all the answers yet.
But you don't need to have them right now.
Look towards the horizon.
There's space ahead of you.
There is still a tomorrow you have yet to experience.
And there are small moments of peace that you maybe not be able to imagine today.
But may one day find their way back to you.
You don't have to rush towards them.
For now,
You can simply stay here.
With yourself.
With your story.
With everything you feel.
If you wish,
Place one hand over your heart or on your belly.
Feel the warmth on your hand.
And slowly repeat these words in your mind.
I am here.
I'm going through a difficult time.
But I don't have to face my whole life in this one moment.
I can ask for help.
I can allow myself to rest.
Even now.
Even as I am.
I deserve kindness and grace.
Begin to gently notice the place around you once again.
Feel your body resting against the surface that supports you.
Listen to the sounds around you.
Allow your breath to find its natural rhythm.
And carry this image with you.
You don't have to stop every way from arriving.
Little by little,
You can learn to find shelter,
To allow yourself to be supported and to reach out when you need someone.
If you still feel broken today,
It doesn't mean you will feel this way forever.
You don't have to see the entire path ahead You only need to take the next small step.
And maybe.
For today.
That step is simply taking care of yourself.
When you feel ready Gently open your eyes.
And remember.
You are not defined by your pain alone.
You are also the part of you that,
Despite everything,
Is still here.
And I am with you.
Namaste.
