Good morning,
Good afternoon,
Good evening,
Wherever you are in this moment.
Find yourself comfortable,
Whatever works for your body,
Perhaps closing the eyes,
Begin to soften the shoulders,
Relax your head,
Neck,
And feet.
Breathe deeply into the nose,
Then out of the mouth.
You are here for the next few moments,
So tune in to what's going on inside the body,
Inside the mind,
Knowing that you are safe and relaxed.
You deserve to be safe at all times.
You are here,
You are grounded,
And you are calm.
In this moment,
You are powerful,
Rooted.
You have everything that you need to feel protected,
Protected in this world,
And you trust that you are supported by the universe.
You are nourished and supported by Mother Earth.
You are connected to your body and your soul.
You are worthy of love and care.
You are safe,
You are safe,
You are safe.
You are safe to bring your awareness to your belly,
Where your diaphragm is,
Noticing rising and falling,
Connect.
Observe the temperature of your body,
Warm,
Cool,
Cold,
Hot.
What makes you feel held here?
See if you can lengthen your exhales to be longer than your inhales,
Taking your time,
Finding no rush,
Let go of your worries,
And bring your awareness to your head and your face,
Neck,
And shoulders.
Do you feel held?
Do you feel supported?
Do you feel that you support yourself as well as others?
Breathe,
Soften,
Relax.
Notice if you're tensing or clenching the jaw,
Perhaps the facial muscles,
Could be the forehead.
Be aware you can let go and soften,
Knowing that this is a practice,
One that you continue practicing,
Always learning and observing.
Breathe,
Soften,
Relax.
Feel the breath move in and out of your body,
The motion of it,
Energy of it,
And intention of it,
Knowing you are right where you need to be and things flow for you.
Continue to settle the body,
Settle the mind,
Noticing the weight of your muscles,
Weight of your bones.
Take your time.
There is no rush.
Let go of your worries.
Continue to bring your awareness to your body,
Gently bring your awareness back into your breath,
Back into your mind,
Hopefully taking this grounding feeling with you for the rest of your day,
For the rest of your week,
And whenever you may need it.
Thank you so much for being here with me.
Namaste.
